And are they still trying that. cause i would love to see the sioux kill them in hockey No. The hockey issue hasn't been touched since that AD that was from UND left NDSU. The Bison almost lost to Montana, EXCEPT they came back in the 4th. Whatever your point was, Mark Kauk would find the hole in it. So could Ray Charles...from 50 ft. away. And are they still trying that. cause i would love to see the sioux kill them in hockey After we Fargo voters shut down NDSU's attempt to get taxpayers to build them a rink, they vowed that they'd be back. But then Ralph Englestad gave UND the REA and these guys haven't been heard from since... instead, they have focused all of their efforts on moving to D-1. If the hockey rink wouldn't have been voted down by Fargoans, NDSU would have a hockey program today and would still be a D-2 school for other purposes...So maybe Ralph Englestad killed the rivalry... Oh...so we didn't vote on an addition to the Dome for an additional rink, practice facility and lockers, etc so that NDSU could start a Div. 1 hockey program.....I made it all up...sorry... The Fargodome has held ice shows, but it doesn't have the refrigeration equipment to make ice for hockey, if that makes sense. Supposedly the cost of the equipment was way more than what it originally was budgeted for, and that's why they tried to have the other arena built by the Fargodome.
