WPoS
Sounds like the gophers may have their best player of the past two seasons if the bull dogs injuries keep them shorthanded.
dagies
The last two years, the team they are playing seems to have a major injury right before they meet. Tanya Harding is a Gopher fan.
GFSIOUXFAN
a healthy bull dogs team is much better than a healthy gophers team. The gophers only chance is injuries. An unheard of 5-0 record doesn't lie. The gophers need more than their talent base and team work to make a real run at it. They are pretty good, but not nearly good enough to stack up evenly against Duluth, North Dakota nd many other teams.

The Sicatoka
There is one and only one conspiracy in these parts, and that is .... The Vast Fighting Sioux Conspiracy If you only knew ....
farce poobah
Brosz is still out, and Hambly is doubtful. Doesn't help tUMD's chances at all.... Seems very likely that Sandelin and Co will be conservative with bringing back players who are dinged up ... ... other than bragging rights, the real stakes for the UMD-UM game are last change for their quarterfinal game at either Grand Rapids or Colorado Springs. (Hard to concoct a scenario where they aren't seeded #4 and #5 overall, with the winner getting the #4 overall seed, and a #1 regional seed.) Hate to say it, but if I'm Sandelin, I'd trade a loss Friday for a full roster in 10 days. But then I'm just a backseat quarterback.
