btw, even though it's quite early and anything can happen, USCHO predicts UND, UM and UMD will be in three different regionals - if that were to happen I like the odds of at least 2 winning their regional.

I think USCHO Put UMD in the same regional as Minnesota.

From USCHO.com: http://uscho.com/news/2004/02/11_007921.php

So our final bracket would be:

West Regional:

Bemidji State vs. North Dakota

Denver vs. Wisconsin

Midwest Regional:

Massachusetts vs. Minnesota

St. Cloud vs. Michigan

East Regional:

Brown vs. Maine

Ohio State vs. Minnesota-Duluth

Northeast Regional:

Holy Cross vs. Boston College

Miami vs. New Hampshire

Of these, the likely outcomes to play for the Frozen four, IMO would be:

WEST:

UND vs UW

MIDWEST:

Minnesota vs Michigan

EAST:

Maine vs UMD

NORTHEAST:

BC vs Miami (Miami with an "upset" over UNH to get there)

The worst case scenario would be a FF with 3 WCHA and 1 CCHA teams with my choices. Higly doubtful as I'm sure, even if it does look like this in the second round, BC will make the FF.
