fightingsioux4life Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 The State of Pennsylvania is suing the NCAA over using the $60 million Penn State fine outside of the state. Pennsylvania's congressional delegation thinks it should be used within the state: http://www.usatoday....-state/1802947/ What say you legal minds? Quote
ScottM Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Right now, I'd bet their suit will have as much traction as UND's 2005 litigation. The problem being that Penn State is a voluntary member of the same organization as the one being accused of civil anti-trust violations. The only possible sliver of hope is that the NC$$ may tick off Pennsylvania's congressional delegation enough that they investigate on their own. Quote

No one will touch it because of the nature of the fine. Quote
