sprig
For those of you with a dataflix package, you've probably received the "technical difficulties" email. For those that don't have a package, no need to buy the game tonight, it won't be on. They may or may not have things working by tomorrow. Diggler
What a bunch of retards. They refuse to put the game on local TV even though they could because they want to make more money. Then they aren't even competant enough to get their little money making scheme working.
TheSiouxFan
Any bars in the GF area that are able to get Victory Sports One?
Sioux Fan
I heard that they pulled the webcast because game ticket sales were down and SCSC officials were complaining and figured the webcast wouldn't help?? Who knows. Still on radio, correct?
CoteauRinkRat
This game should be on tv in grand forks. Doesn't make any sense why we don't have Victory Sports anyways.
siouxfan1
The game is still on Radio 96.1 at 7:05. I really don't know if it is on at any of the local Bars or not, but it may not be to safe to travel on the roads tonight. If any Sioux fans travel tonight, Be Careful!! Go Sioux!!! Bochenski for Hobey!!
CoteauRinkRat
Just heard that techinical difficulties had nothing to do with it. Sounds like Sioux Fan was right and it had to do with lack of ticket sales in St. Cloud.
Diggler
I'll withdraw my criticism of the webcast people. It is the SCCC people who screwed it up. There are unsold tickets and this is somehow UND's fault? Please. Yuck, another terrible start in St. Cloud. And it just got worse.
CoteauRinkRat
Can someone/ anyone explain to me why Midcontinent doesn't have Victory sports? They are offering the channel free until March I believe to all satellite and cable companies who want to pick it up.
U2Bad1
Is there a clause in the buyers contract that says dataflix will not broadcast a game (although we paid for it) because of another school's inability to sell tickets??? I will say it again, I WANT MY F***** MONEY BACK!

CoteauRinkRat
Another ad in todays GF herald, it is almost funny that they hyped it up so much, and failed to come through with the broadcast

schmidtdoggydog
From today's Herald. Wow, this a bush league move by SCSU! Sioux notes: The game was scheduled to be televised on UND's webcast with cameramen Justin Keller and Anthony Weisser providing the video and Tim Hennessy the play-by-play. Despite the fact the webcast was featured in a one-eighth page ad in the St. Cloud Times newspaper, it never took place. "We learned today that we wouldn't be able to webcast it," UND media relations director Dan Benson said. "We're very disappointed that we weren't able to bring the game to UND fans. We were told the decision was made by some level of the St. Cloud State administration." UND athletic director Roger Thomas and WCHA commissioner Bruce McLeod eventually interceded in the dispute, but St. Cloud didn't relent, even taking away the press credentials from Keller and Weisser, Benson said. PSB
I want my Sioux TV ! I just hope someone picks up Victory Sports, seems no one has....YET! But I am sure by the time the Twins play their first games it will be on cable/satellite, but that will not help Sioux fans, it will be too late by that time! Looks like I will be dusting off the radio tonight.
CoteauRinkRat
Doesn't make sense for Midcontinent not to have this channel. They will have to pick it up before the Twins start or they will have a big problem on their hands. Might as well get it now.
