BigGreyAnt41
FSN+ is 694 on Comcast in Minneapolis. It's not being shown right now. FCS-Pacific shows coverage from 9:00 to 10:30, which is certainly a "joined in progress".

BigGreyAnt41
I called Comcast, and surprisingly, when I went through the menu to Cable TV Technical Problems, they played a recording that said where each of the hockey games are watchable. They said the UND game is only available starting at 9pm. I didn't catch what the channel number was because I already knew it was available on FCS starting at 9:00. According to the FSN+ schedule, though, it's supposed to be on channel 694 (assuming HD) at 8pm. I already emailed FSN to tell them their schedule is wrong and they they shouldn't publish an incorrect schedule. Or perhaps it's just Comcast's fault since it appears it's showing correctly on FSN+ in Grand Forks.

CJ Sioux
My FSN+ in Maple Grove is channel 264. Not until 9 though.
BigGreyAnt41
Thanks for the heads up. Go Sioux! The more I think about it, though, if it's showing correctly on a different cable company, then it's probably Comcast's fault for not flipping a switch to turn on FSN+ on channel 694. BigGreyAnt41
My FSN+ in Maple Grove is channel 264. Not until 9 though. That's not FSN+. That's FCSP, Fox College Sports - Pacific. One of the three channels (FCS Atlantic, FCS Central, FCS Pacific) that always shows the Sioux home games.
CJ Sioux
Oh yes, that's right. I must not get the +. Thanks!

Agreed, fsn plus is working just fine with other providers. Glad we have Tim
BigGreyAnt41
Oh yes, that's right. I must not get the +. Thanks! If you get FSN, you should get FSN+. It's channel 694, which, in my guide doesn't show any initials, and every 30 minutes timeslot just said "To Be Announced".
Dolphinswin
I have comcast and fsn + and the game isnt on for me... Im guessing it will be available at 9.
CJ Sioux
My 694 shows the same - all TBA with nothing on. Frustrating! Thanks again for the channel direction!
Dolphinswin
CJ, channel 694 will never say the game on it, its always TBA even when you watch the Wild on the channel. So go to it anyways at 9 and if its not on 9 you can get it on 264, I believe we will be joining it in progress.

BigGreyAnt41
So the game's finally over....but they're interviewing players!? Really? You don't do that when you're already cutting into a different game's broadcast that was already set to Join in Progress. Very poor production by Root Sports and FCS. CJ Sioux
Seriously? Are they ever going to switch from this basketball post game coverage?
BigGreyAnt41
For those curious, I got a response from Fox Sports North regarding the Saturday game: The reason you did not receive the North Dakota/Denver game is because Comcast currently carries FOX Sports North PLUS on an “event only” basis. (anything bolded on the schedule is considered an event, in most cases it’s a game that is televised live) We do offer the channel to them on a full-time basis, at no additional cost, but they need to make the decision to carry it full-time like other providers have. We hope the status with Comcast changes in the near future, but in the meantime encourage you to reach out to them to express your interest in the full-time channel. So basically, it seems that we didn't get to watch it because somebody at Comcast didn't want to flip the switch, even though it wouldn't have interuppted any other programmer, cost them any more money or cost their subscribers any more money. Pure laziness, it appears.
