forecheck Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 No surprise there, but I also thought that Matt Jones would be a pretty good choice for defensive player of the week with 3 goals on the weekend and a cumulative +9 rating for the season. I see that he was nominated at least. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 Am happy for Bo as he had a break-out game against a team that had given him fits in the past. Question: If a defenseman has a lot of points in any given weekend (more than any forwards), is he eligible for Offensive Player of the Week or does that award always go to a forward? Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 I think Jonsey got hosed. 2 clutch goals on saturday against the Goophs, plus playiong outstanding defensively all weekend. Coole's .936 is impressie though. Let's turn tha tinto a .639 this weekend Sorry if m y tyiping sucks...jus tgo tback from the El Rock. Anyone know where I can get my jersey lettered? Scheels, maybe? Also, how long would tha ttake? Quote

Also, how long would tha ttake? There's a place on Columbia in the Grand Cities Mall that will do lettering I think. .936 is impressive... if he has faced enough quality opponents. So far, only UMD under his belt as far as real opponents. It will be intriguing to see how he fares against us. Quote
#1GreeneFan Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 I got my jersey lettered at Home of Economy and that only took a few days. The place in the grand cities mall only does screen printing. Quote

UNDProud Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 If you take the jersy into the shop in the South Forks Mall they will do it as you wait. It is owned by our Randy Wilson, Dad to backup quarterback, Joe Wilson. They do a great job. Second, what does the +/- thing mean? I have been a fan for many years but never knew what they were talking about. Quote

Get a +1 each time you're on the ice when your team scores, and a -1 when you're scored against. Odd man situations (PP and PK) don't count, except when you score shorthanded (+1). Quote
amn5hol Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 except when you score shorthanded (+1).......or get scored on when on the power play (-1). Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Is it sown on letters or just screen printing? Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 I've asked people in Scheels before and they always give me a different answer about sewing on names and numbers. Quote
