Old faithful is there 24/7 (in black and white)

Freq. 12055

Pol. V

SR. 13350

73% signal quality the kind of level you require for a conus satellite feed ; )

I have a black and white feed at 12052 v 13350.

Is that the same thing basically or do the numbers have to be the same exactly?

I also have a northern Illinois vs temple game at 11950 H 13230

And western Michigan vs ball state at 11968 H 13230.

Yes thats it (91w) , all LNB's are off freq. just a tad. So that freq. is the right one. (but worth reminding folks that if you blind scanned in your signal you may get a better signal by manually entering the exact coordinates)

Just time to make a cardboard feed horn? OK maybe not.

What knid of signal quality do you have, I am at 74% now : )

Everyone that has had problems so far should now be able to scan this in, if the power stays up.

I nearly chocked on my Bean Burrito when the signal popped up........... I thought it was my magic cardboard feed-horn : ) hey keep it handy : )

I have 74% as well.

But this is my first connection to the feed this year.

Is this signal better than what people were getting for other football games?

ie is part of the equation that the Sioux games are coming from Alaska, or did the FSSN uplink just improve overall giving us the chance to actually get the hockey game in a couple of hours?

This is by far the strongest signal for any broadcast so far this year. If the power stays like this, the hockey will be no problem.

OK with just over 2 hours to go before game time I made a cardboard feed-horn

I DID see better signals on weak feeds, enough to make the difference between getting a picture and not getting a picture.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, this will not work if you get no signal at all, but will help only if your picture is breaking up.

And of course your results may vary.

Very nice, although I hope now that the signal is up you don't have to test it on a bad signal.

Same here but I was not going to sit back while Sioux fans struggled with their systems.

Plus I enjoyed the build and its another video up my sleeve : )

Mine is coming in better than football game. I also put the horn on so I was thinking that had something to do with it.

Nice one Jake! ( Keep it handy you may just need it in the dead of winter (Not with signals like this :D )

Like others, I'm getting a great signal tonight. Once I got the coordinates, i had to move it a few touches but now enjoying the game.

78% signal intensity, 71% signal quality.

Thanks for everyone's posts.

Thanks for the signal report.

Thanks for the signal report.

PSB I have a question for you;

Last night during the hockey game feed after I got tuned to the channel and was getting good signal (71%), I went to the USALS screen and selected the transponder for the game so I could try the "bump" east and west to see if I could get a little better signal. When I selected the transponder for the game (12065 4870) it showed 10% signal but when I exited out of the USALS menu screen and back to the channel I had a great picture and pressing info showed again 71% signal?

I did this a few times- very weird.

Any thoughts.

Also does anyone know if the BSU series will be up-linked?? or maybe the FSSN will pick them up as a gift to all of us fans?

Yes I have seen that once before, sounds like the software may have been corrupted? Not sure of the cause.

An upgrade to the latest software will fix that : )

Alternatly just use DiSEqC 1.2 to nudge over a wee bit, then simply asign a number and store the position, then the dish will return to that exact position when you select the 91w satellite. This is actually more precise than USALS.
