This is the 3rd year that I have attended the Denver satellite party and this was the best attended one yet. Probably 80 to 100 UND and NDSU fans. Very nice setup, half inside seating and half outside right next to Mile High at Invesco. Only problem was that we did not have sound for the game; but we were entertained by singing a few traditional Sioux songs.

Hats off to the local Devner organizers from both schools, great location, lots of fun.

There was no sound at the Rock Springs, WY site either. The Alumni Associations need to get the technical stuff right. Other than that it is a great chance to get together with other NODAKS. Something I really look forward too every year.

Technical staff isn't all that great here at UND. They are trying to do something similar with hockey and it's horrible, or so I understand.

I think they'll eventually fix the problem, but will it become reliable before the season ends? Who knows.

I don't understand why a satellite feed to a few bars around the country should be so complex. All they do is put the TV broadcast up on the satellite. Geez.....the major networks have been doing it for years and years. The lack of sound at many of the sites was a real stupid snafu for who ever is resposible. North Dakota is not the techno backwoods. At the University of Montana almost all football games are on satellite so alum from all over the country can see the game (high quality feeds). There is no reason that the Bison and Sioux shouldn't be doing the same thing.
