  1. I know that the tickets that the UND Alumni Assoc. had for Saturday night are sold out; however, it's highly unlikely that the arena is sold out for either night. DU does not have very strong fan support - Denver is a pro sports town. Last year, the Sioux fans were louder than the DU fans during the game. A few of my DU friends were a little surprised at the UND fan turnout. This is one road game for the Sioux that the opponent does not have the fan advantage. Hopefully we can give the same support as last year but with two wins instead of a loss and a tie.
  2. Jackson's didn't host the party last year, just a bunch of guys got together there and rented the upstairs. Those same guys have yet to make up their mind if they are getting together again this time. Jacksons does a great job of accomidating by tuning in satellite feeds of whatever game you want, as long as you know the cordinates. I have heard that this game will be on Fox Sports North? Which would mean any bar with DirecTV could get FSN as well as the local Rocky Mountain Fox Sports.
  3. Sioux Fan, I'm up in Denver but can't come down for the game, do you or anyone else know if someone is carrying the game here or are you getting the feed via satelite? If it's is via satelite, do you know the coordinates for tonights game?
  4. This is the 3rd year that I have attended the Denver satellite party and this was the best attended one yet. Probably 80 to 100 UND and NDSU fans. Very nice setup, half inside seating and half outside right next to Mile High at Invesco. Only problem was that we did not have sound for the game; but we were entertained by singing a few traditional Sioux songs. Hats off to the local Devner organizers from both schools, great location, lots of fun.
  5. Unfortunately, this article doesn't surprise me one bit. If anyone has ever had the unfortunate circumstance of having to hang out on the NDSU campus you'd realize that they must have some sort of infatuation with UND. This is difficult to say... but my girlfriend is an NDSU alum and I was forced to attend a homecoming event at NDSU with her. They easily could have renamed the NDSU Homecoming Talent Show to the Sioux Sucks show. They weren't even playing the Sioux for homecoming, but every skit, even Bob Babich, had to throw in a comment about how bad they thought the Sioux sucked. When I was at UND, we couldn
  6. I'm not sure if I'm understanding this correctly (I'm not all that technologically advanced) but the home page for the Fargo Forum www.new.in-forum.com is advertising that the UND vs. CC series will be "streamed" (assuming that means televised) through their website. I haven't seen this advertised before, does anyone know if they do this for all games now or is it just my luck that they show the games I finally get to attend living in Colorado?
  7. I'll be there with as many Boulder/Denver UND grads as I can find! Hopefully we can cellebrate with at least a split this year.
  8. When I lived in Devils Lake we were able to get them on KFYR, but it didn't seem like they carried all of the games.
