Sioux_Hab-it
Game winning goals is a stupid stat, it can be very misleading. A player scores a goal in the second period to go up 4-1, his team ends up wining 4-3 and he gets credit for the game winning goal. I think your team has exactly the same philosophy as you which helps explain their record. If you are a fan that likes lots of goals in a high scoring game good for you but those days are over in the WCHA. More often than not the games are close and you have to depend on the players who can score that big goal when you really need it, VV, Duncan, Gregoire and Hextall come to mind. Right now your team is missing that all important piece of the puzzle.

But when was the last time your squad has been up 4-1 not to mention getting a win so someone can claim a GWG?
