tony Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Long time, no post! Found this article doing my NDSU news sweep and thought you folks might find it interesting: http://www.journalnet.com/articles/2008/09...rts/local/3.txt Right now, the Big Sky has no plan for succession. If Montana ever were to leave, the Big Sky would lose the football clout that program has given it. It needs a prince, one with the resources and state-wide prominence of Montana. In short, the Big Sky needs North Dakota. Say what you will about the other football teams in the conference, but none of them has a tradition nearly as rich as Montana's. It's not close. IMO, the dream scenario for UND would be that the Big Sky adds UND and/or USD before the Montana schools bolt. Then, if it turns out the Montana schools don't leave, you've got yourself a great setup. Quote
GeauxSioux Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Nice find Tony. I would love for the Sioux to be in the Big Sky. Quote
SiouxMD Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 More importantly, though, North Dakota has the advantage of isolation. Nice spin. Quote
dakotadan Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I see that JBB was spreading his knowledge to the Idaho State Journal this morning. That guy's computer needs to crash. Quote

dlsiouxfan Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I see that JBB was spreading his knowledge to the Idaho State Journal this morning. That guy's computer needs to crash. Honestly, at what point do the words "obsession" and "mental illness" come into play. This guy keeps closer tabs on UND football than most of us on this board while at the same time pretending he doesn't care. Is there a medical term for his complex? Quote
PartTime Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 He's an idiot. Dave, you made me laugh this morning.........thanks! Quote
