The defense today gave us every chance to win this game. Our three best players on offense (Santiago, Oliveira, and Johannesson) touched the ball maybe once in the 4th quarter. If you don't think Rudolph is a problem, then you can leave with him. He has to go.

First one was called correctly for a penalty shot, second one was a good no call and a great play by the d-man

You're completely right on the hug though. If he dives from the side, no penalty shot. He instead wraps up form behind making it a penalty shot.

Getting a shot off doesn't determine anything. The player has to be denied a reasonable goal scoring opportunity. If a penalty occurred, then he was denied the opportunity.
