  1. OK, whatever.
  2. Keep trying, someday you'll come up with something relevant to post.
  3. Still don't see a point. I agree, they didn't need to have a press conference. They did, so what?
  4. In no way does that say that NDSU won't be winning titles after this year. It merely says that NDSU has more to lose than other schools simply because it has had more success than those schools.
  5. NDSU doesn't need defending. UND fans, on the other hand, could use a little enlightenment.
  6. Boy. I read back through the thread and I don't see anything like that in any of his posts.
  7. Sorry, I deleted the post once I fully read your post and realized how stupid my post was. Not fast enough...I guess.
  8. Agreed, they were ill-prepared and should not have held a press conference. In any case, what is your point? It seems to be that NDSU was a little disorganized after losing two of its all-time best athletic administrators in quick succession. I'm not surprised by that.
  9. As I said before, they were surprised that UND accepted such a one-sided offer, and unprepared for a press conference. Not too surprising considering their AD and Head Coach had both recently left.
  10. Again, you're being ridiculous. Gene, never reneged on anything. Offers don't stay open for two years.
  11. Wow! Where in the world did you get that?
  12. It wouldn't make much sense for NDSU and UND to have exchanged checks in a home and home deal, would it? That's why no money changes hands in a home and home deal.
  13. UND was under no obligation to schedule NDSU after NDSU left the NCC. They were, however, under an obligation to deal with NDSU in a fair and ethical manner. IMO, verbally promising to sign a deal and then reneging on the promise (in highly insulting terms) at the last minute is neither fair nor ethical. What goes around comes around, and it's coming around for UND right now.
  14. Who's press conference are you referring to, and when? If you're referring to NDSU's this year, exactly what point are you trying to make?
  15. Again, so what?
  16. Again, what's the point? NDSU scheduled USD because doing was in its best interest. NDSU schedules who it wants to schedule and does not owe you, or anyone else, an explanation.
  17. And that itself is sufficient reason for NDSU to not schedule the game. Turnabout is fair play.
  18. So? NDSU schedules who it wants. It happens that Weber helped NDSU during its transition and UND did not.
  19. Maybe, maybe not. In any case scheduling UND isn't helpful to NDSU. So why do it?
  20. Please translate....
  21. Relevance?
  22. I wouldn't consider not scheduling an OOC game with a team that has zero significant DI wins to be "running." If that's what you mean.
  23. That's the whole point. We have to absolutely destroy you, or we, in a sense, lose. A run-of-the-mill NDSU butt kicking isn't enough.
  24. No one will literally play anyone, anytime, anywhere. You schedule out of conference games to benefit your team. Not to benefit the other team.
  25. Exactly! Given current expectations, NDSU would have to win 80-0 to get any net benefit out of playing the game.
