  1. Not sure if serious, but you're wrong.
  2. The WDAY coverage showed him doing the catching drills. I didn't see him doing the 40, and might suspect he is sitting on his numbers from the UM pro day, at least for the 40.
  3. FWIW, if they put in UND over WIU, UND is paired with SDSU and routed through Fargo. EIU/UNI now goes through Illinois State, and Dayton flies to Montana and the winner (Montana) heads to PSU. From a regionalization standpoint, this would create more bus trips/possible bus trips then they ended up with.
  4. SDSU was playing for a seed and a first round bye. They had plenty to play for. *sorry, I'm really struggling with your quote functions on here.
  5. 2013. SHSU went 8-4, but two wins were non-D1 at the time due to transitional teams so they only had 6 D1 wins. That year YSU was left out with 8 D1 wins.
  6. "The won-lost record of a team will be scrutinized to determine a team’s strength of schedule; however, fewer than six Division I wins may place a team in jeopardy of not being selected;" From the Pre-championship manual http://www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/2015-16_DIFCS_PreChamps_20150924.pdf SHSU got in with only 6 D1 wins a couple of years ago. WIU could be considered and when you factor in their 3 wins against playoff teams their resume looks solid. It sucks being the last one out, personally I think you have a case over EIU and UNH looks like a coin flip, but neither are solid arguments.
  7. What might you call those two fellows if they preferred not to use lube?
  8. I agree. Let it die. It's almost dead.
  9. I'll agree 150k is too low. 190k guarantee, IMO, would be a fair number. UND has less travel than other teams, but is certainly a better opponent than what NDSU currently can get for one-time games. I still don't see the urgency to get an away game for 2019 on the schedule. I could agree with a 2-4-1. 2015 @NDSU, 2018 @NDSU, 2019 @UND. If either one of these were offered by BF and GT rejected them. I could buy into "GT won't play UND." Till then, GT is just a businessman looking out for NDSU's best interests.
  10. With the uncertainty of college football I don't see an urgency to get an away game on the schedule for 2019. When it gets closer I could see a home and home for 2018 and 2019 working out. But I know most of you would like to see UND get their schedule filled up through those years in which that may not be an option in the future. I'd be shocked if GT wouldn't agree to a one-game contract for 2015 for more than the original guarantee. IMO, if BF offered a one time game in Fargo for 150k guarantee it'd get done. Could be wrong.
  11. Why? Because UND couldn't possibly afford to give up a half sold home game and an expensive bus trip for a measly six figure plus payday? A home and home does not work for NDSU. If nothing less than that works for UND. Fine, fill up your schedule till 2030. Maybe by then you'll have a playoff berth.
  12. Why would Taylor send an offer for a two game series in Fargo that would be financially lucrative for both institutions if he'll never schedule UND? Especially considering the fact that UND potentially stands to gain more than NDSU by playing the game.
  13. 1. Dates and locations were agreed upon, however details were never worked out and a contract never got signed for reasons we don't know. Now after 3 NDSU championships UND wants the same deal that was discussed 3 years ago. The business climate of NDSU football has dramatically changed since those discussions took place. Try getting season tickets. Unless you've got a dozen wells pumping around Parshall, good luck. 2. Weber State wasn't an ideal deal for NDSU. A twelve game season, dates that worked out, combined with the home and home Weber State did when NDSU was an FCS nobody got that deal done. At the moment, NDSU has a lot of motivation to get home games on their schedule. Sometimes a match can't be found and NDSU may end up doing a home and home. Ideally if a home and home series is signed hopefully it's a perennial playoff team. Just because a deal with Weber State was worked out doesn't mean UND is entitled to the same deal. GT offered a 2 game series both games in Fargo for a 175k to 195k guarantee. UND averaged 8500 fans last season. Add in the expense say of 150k to bring in an opponent, I'd be shocked if UND nets more than 100k for an OOC game. GT offered a lucrative deal for both institutions. UND has more to gain by renewing the rivalry. IMO, BF doesn't want the rivalry.
