More BS from the hired PR spin Specialists - Still I think they thought it would be a slam dunk & were hired for the job - It is good they both could probably retire tomorrow because I don't think they have longevity in their future & a lot of the folks are going to vote their disgust

Can the State Supreme Court in their wisdom get to the root cause of a problem. Or do they only deal with that that is in question. Could they some how take this to a new level & ultimately get the US Supreme Court to decide. Say it is just the right thing to do & all this is just bickering that will never go away. Can they cut thru the crap & get to the real meat of the issue ? Or don't they do that ? Seems with Lawyers & contracts & settlements you may not get to the real issues or right & wrong Or do we have to Monkey Fork around & ultimately have many folks unhappy & angry. Who would really be unhappy if we kept the name & ncaa said it was ok - is it a sword they really have to fall on ?

They are only doing it to save their Jobs - they have no plans to break the agreement - so we will be OK unless the ncaa breaks their part of it & if they do - it will be the State of ND taking them on after the referral vote not the Lame SBOHE or UND Admin. We are Fighting Sioux Fans - Always have been always will be - the sooner the ncaa & other outside interests get out of our way the sooner we will continue to honor the name & follow the Lame agreement our SBOHE & AG & UND ADMIN. got us into It will hurt no one but us not being able to wear Sioux Gear on our teams uniforms etc. at ncaa events - not a big deal Not worth running away from the name until SL wins their lawsuit

You know how Lame that sounds - & you know it is ncaa that is Lame & causing us harm not the Fighting Sioux Name

You think those groups intend to cause UND harm then Ban them from participating - you guys are UNREAL

If that happened I would hope we have better leaders & smarter recruits into those activities - For the rest of us it is a Free Country if the ncaa wants to police & make accusations & blow this out of proportion then they are even lower than I currently think they are

& if we wear the jerseys at ncaa events then they (ncaa) will up the sanctions - But were not going to do that we agreed in the settlement so were good to go if the truth were told then recruits would see thru the BS - if they want to play for coaches like that so be it - there are lots of fish in the sea

Might lose recruits ? - Yeah that one sends shivers down my spine then maybe you need better Coaches & Admin. Our facilities are second to none & our coaches have been the difference in getting recruits so just run away from 80 yrs of a program that worked very well because of a misguided / false & Racist group of folks who think they know cultural diversity better than we do - seems to me the ncaa is trying to cause more harm than good

& all we have to do is not wear the Sioux Jersey's at ncaa events If not for the referral vote UND Admin. would have completely removed the Logo & any hope to keeping the name by now They want us to all give up & just let it go away What other harm can happen as long as we follow the settlement ?

As long as we don't use the name for the very rare ncaa events nothing will happen if ncaa turns up the heat & increases sanctions other than the agreement - then I would think it would be grounds for further litigation

Our SBOHE & AG screwed up & then a new Admin. came in & screwed things up even more - never a real united effort by key players until it was late in the terrible settlement & now the only Tribe that is near us wants to keep the name & is finally fighting for the Pride of that name Now the sky is falling crowd (that only cares about their 2nd attempt to get in a D1 conference) is spreading Fear & untruths to say it will hurt the University

they still could just no Sioux uniforms or SIOUX on the end zones

& I'm OK with that look at this year & the future - it is not all that likely that we are in ncaa tournments - so just have some ND jerseys for that rare event & we should be OK - not a reason to remove the name
