Well to be positive, will someone start a thread every time someone signs on? A general leaving thread with some positive notes on how to save a future player is good. Also, on the sign on thread why they are coming to UND?

IMHO, I think Bubba knows how to recruit and his sincerity must show! How many football scholarship $$$ does UND have compared to others? When a player accepts a scholarship and then leaves, is that money tied up if it is a multi-year scholarship? Can that money be put back in the pot for others? That is my only question about players leaving! My mother always said, "Money talks."

Couldn't care less about those teams unless we play them. I'm a UND fan and because of that an FCS fan. Before that I was a D2 fan where our team did as well as possible in 2001 winning THE championship.

I think he got sick and tired of the lack of support for the FB program by the Administration. Also, the Athletic Department was in total chaos at the time and he didn't want to work under those conditions. The blame lies with UND's lack of support for FB, not Lennon.
I think Dale is a class act. I don't know lot about football but as a man, yes he is a positive leader!

I'm so sick of you. You're everywhere. I come here and your posts are all over my favorite thread. I wake up go to the bathroom take a dump and your piled up in my toilet. You're everywhere.
I just got up from a nice Sunday afternoon nap, this creates a very graphic image for me. My response the immature, Bison fans on this site would be to eat s#%t and bark at the moon. We still have the nickel and the SIOUX will be back after a 4 year rebuilding. Hope they don't shut this down after my comment!

I was very impressed with UND this year and expect they will only get better next year looking at their depth chart from this season. That coupled with the investment you are making in facilities and I expect to see UND at or near the top of the Big Sky year in and year out in the coming years. Congrats on the great season.
Now 2 years into the 4 year rebuilding!

They need to do the simple things that help. Ok You wanna sell beer in the catwalk, Ok you wanna point it toward the field making the line in front of it directly block the walkway.
At least put a small crowd control "rope" directing the people in line to the side and not directly in front blocking the walkway.
Minor things, but they are somewhat problematic with only 8,000 people. Couldn't imagine the clusterfu*k with 13,000.
I would like to see the clusterf**k with 13,000!

If we cap off this crappy loss with finding out on Monday we selected Nodaks as our nickname.....might be too much for me to take. In my opinion that nickname is as bad as our secondary.
Well I do not care what the name is... the Sioux remain the Sioux. I have so many codes for my computer at work. I have gone through my husband, kids, our dead dog, and ex-boyfriend. This changing every 90 days kills me. So now I use Sioux, part of a 12 digit code with what ever else is needed! The Sioux stay the Sioux in my book.
Just FYI, I had real problems remembering the ex-boyfriend so I went back to our dead dog.

The staff should certainly be evaluating themselves and looking for improvement, but it's way too early in the process for the AD to be looking at making changes. If Bubba decided a change needs to be made, that'd be different.

They have vision and balls. The is a great recipe for success. I'd like to see more of this type of thinking from UND. We need to see more success first though, SDSU has been very good since moving up. We also have some football alums who are very successful. You'd think our university could make it happen with a mix of big private donations student fees state dollars etc.
Vision and balls make you go far in areas other than football.
I miss going back to the Expedition, turning the heat on full blast, and putting on warm dry socks at half time. Toilet seats are rather cool in the Alerus so what is the difference?

Two years ago you could find maybe two bison things tucked away in the gf scheels. Winning 4 in a row and gf expanding their stoor in a new location = more space and more everything, including bison gear. Once we get really good at football again and maybe once the hockey team stops choking there will be even more UND stuff. A new nickname and logo may help as well.
Ditto A logo would really help (one that is supported by fans, community, and staff). Can't say I was impressed when I read some suggestions in the paper. I mean NO ONE in MN liked the Wild when it was announced but it grows on you.
Retro fitting a building is expensive and difficult...then you seem to lose whatever warranties you have because when problems develop, everyone points fingers.
I would totally support banners, posters, photos of players, other UND teams, etc. I like the 4th quarter beer special and maybe ties to a "Get a XXX Beer for XXX with every quarterback sack!" Anything to create an atmosphere...but, a winning team does that.

The bisons are just plain better than us now. Disappointed with the game but not totally unexpected.
Tough loss... a year ago I said we need 4 years to rebuild and we will....at some point we WILL be better than the Bison

The defense today was outstanding. Outside of Drakes first drive and a couple others they had their way with the bulldogs. When they needed a sack, they got a sack. They dropped about three ints on top of it. Not to mention that they had no help from the offense in the second half. Literally none.
The kick coverage was improved big time still not perfect. They need to be even better next week.
The offense had a couple moments, most of them passing. The OL was horrendous, most of the time. I did feel like we missed Georges. I also had a feeling that maybe they're holding Smith out til NDSU. Maybe he'll be the secret weapon like Santiago was against WYO. Also I felt like the play calling was about as simple as possible to get the win and go into next game with putting as little on film as possible.
I'm not the least bit impressed by this win. It was ugly. It was painful. It wasn't what the fans needed to see. But I think it's what the team needed. This struggle against a more experienced but less talented opponent has illustrated to the team that they need to execute at 100% against every team they play. Obviously we're gonna get our ass kicked next game if we're not ready to go. I think this game will galvanize the team and give Bubba and co plenty of ass chewing material this week.
So I guess in a way is doing poorly this week is a good thing to me.
Like I said, "I LOVE good defense!"

1st and 10; Studsrud gives to Seibel (in motion) who takes it to the 11. Flag. Defense was offsides. Penalty declined.

2017 UND Recruiting

Well momster, I said all of my kids could go to UND, sports or no sports, and I would be happy. I can not say enough good things about the school, community, or staff. As a health care professional, I heard wonderful things about UND's medical and nursing programs. Every doctor or nurse who went to UND was EXCELLENT! If your son goes to UND, he will get a great education and play for a great football team. I am sure you will be happy with his choice, good luck! Those days in Feb. are extremely stressful My son had offers from 3 schools and the LOWEST $$$ were from UND ( they did add his academic $$$ and he got more). The night before signing I asked him what his choice was. He said a neighboring school which was giving him a full ride as a freshman. Then asked me my thoughts. I told him just one thing, "Son, I know you do not want to hear this right now but forget football. You need to pick the school that will give you the best education for what you want to do for the rest of your life." His response was, "Mom, then it is UND."
