The old Big Sioux when it was the Tomahawk Cafe when the Kukluks ran it with Moose and Tiger in the kitchen. Now you make me want to drive to Belfield. You are referring to the late 70's early 80's right?Seriously though...all time best at Trapper's in Belfield. Get it with fries and gravey...it"s soooo money!!! Mafia has my back on this one.
Continuing to digress, but that's the winding track of this thread, who else was a 1 am weekend regular at the old Big Sioux for their fries and gravey?
-
This is the Attention Deficit.... I can't remeber what I was going to type thread. This is the game thread?
-
You forgot the hot beef sandwiches. No,this is the hamburger, coffee, class b basketball, high school nickname, waffle condiment, jeopardy, fire Hakstol to Canada with a trebuchet thread.
-
Congratulations! Maybe he will get here in 2032 though. As written by Siouxman in an email this morning:
Congrats to the proud parents and grandparents and welcome to the Sioux hockey family!
-
Park River Aggies are right up there.Poorly worded question...new co-op name is Hettinger-Scranton Night Hawks.
RIP Black Devils (greatest ND high school nickname in ND this side of Starkweather Storm Kings) and Scranton Miners.
Fire Hakstol.

You don't watch Jepordy do you? You can wager whatever you want unless you have a negative score then it is a set amount.$2K if its double jeopardy...
-
What was the wager? No clue on co-op school name but mascot is Black Devils I believe?
-
I'll take "Potpourri" for a $1000 Alex...
Ding ding ding. Double jepordy. How much would you like to wager Oxbow?I'll take "Potpourri" for a $1000 Alex...

What are you talking about? This thread is about Class B basketball in the 80's. Can't you follow along?Peanut butter on mine.
NC>>multiple FFs?
If so then Sandelin>>Hak?
Back on track...discuss.
-
Sloppy Joe style BBQs?The open hot beef sandwich at the Trapper's...awesome. Outside of that...meh.
Wilbur>Mafia>Oxbow>Any GB QB that doesn't have a fractured collarbone!!
And to get further off track...the Dairy Barn in Dickinson has the absolute best BBQs and the Big Boy in Bismarck...pizza burgers flying saucer style!!
And I'll go 3-2 UND tonight. Rocco is due...

And other types of food also. What about pie? I thought that Betty's Pies on the North Shore were nothing special.Whoa whoa whoa...why don't you go post that in a hockey thread somewhere? We are talking about burgers here...
-
Do what?Yes, as a matter of fact, I do.
-
Another old man posting!Millers used to be my hangover place - greasy and delicious
-

They use to have great pancakes when Darcy Fonder still owned it. Do you know how they are now? Best hot beef sandwiches and pancakes use to be at Miller's Cafe in the old Miller's grocery store where Blockbuster is soon no longer to be at. That place was great. You never knew who you were going to eat with there. You just sat at an open seat in a booth when they were busy with whoever was already sitting there.best coffee in town is darcys.
-
You are telling that to the wrong person. I did not bring up the subject matter. Do you always answer questions that were not directed to you?Talk about the Bison on some other website!!
-
Since you know your football much better than I do a question for you. Which teams do you think NDSU could beat. Another question is how high of a ranking do you think they should have? That list is a joke NDSU is ranked 70th behind K State and other teams they would beat. Northern Colorado is not worse than Grambling or Savanah St.

Thread title is now off. Does this crowd have ADD or what? What was I talking about?
-
True that.long bridge in DL has a great burger as well.
-
The Hi Ho is that little bar on the north side of the street in Dilworth right? If it is the one I am thinking of you are right about the best burger for the money. In N Out >Culver's>Sonic>Five Guys>Smashburger
Best burger for the money IMO...Hi Ho in Fargo/Dilworth.

Speedway counts. Monster Burgers at the Kegs use to be really good. I always liked a fresh burger cooked on an old cast iron grill. Those stainless steel ones just don't seem to cut it. But then who could ever forget the steak sandwich with mushroom sauce (think canned Campbell's soup) at the Grand Forks A&W years ago. The Larimore Dairy Bar, or whatever they call it, makes really good burgers.Speedway makes a mean burger. It's not fast food though.
-
Dunkin on coffee but Tim's for doughnuts. Krispy Kreme was always over rated. Sonics are way over rated also. What about In-N-Out Burgers? I like Culver's butter burgers and fries better.

Who besides me?

Maybe they feel that they are not important enough for their concerns to be heard and this is their only outlet. Though from the couple of times I talked with Faison I feel he is one AD who really would listen to the little guy and not blow them off. The sign holder seems to be more willingly to state his feelings publicly than others. If this is how he feels cut him some slack. He is letting you vent in your way. Be courteous and allow him the same. It only takes one person to start a revolution. You keep saying that but it isn't true. Brian Faison's e-mail address and phone number are publicly available. He is also very approachable at many of the events he attends.
CBSSN, one last rant, maybe
