It is essential for the team to sweep. There is a level of expectation that will be breached in the minds of the players, coaches, fans. Other teams will be observing that UND is beatable.

Having the extra defenseman tonight helps with battling fatigue and allows more effort to get to the puck. The injuries have allowed game experience for other team-mates.

UND needs to play this hard, and this focused, for the rest of the year. Once UND gets injured players back, this team can go the distance.

Always thought Schmaltz would be a sniper but it does not happen for him.

Yes we do not have hardly any shots this 3rd period. Why? UND player had team members tied up and they failed to put a shot on frame. Watch Denver and they are more likely to put a shot on frame causing garbage available to clean up.

UND players are tracking back much better.

The UND coaching staff is respected by many NHL teams for developing players. Having a quality player go to UND and in most cases the player has a better chance of playing at a professional level.

The team is moving together well and breaking out with speed and determination. The players are getting open. I am frustrated this year because I have loved in the past when Dylan James would bury pucks on a breakaway.

We have the team to go the distance but we need to get the team healthy plus get those injured, games so they can improve their learning curve for college hockey.
