Who the heck is watching the trailers for CC. Three UND players swarm the lead CC player. But no one covers one or even two trailers.

Well lets start over. Nothing like the visiting team feeling great going into the third. A power play goal since when? We have to many short passes trying to force the play in a box that is crowded. That box would be less tight if shots from the outside were on frame.

The Tigers are applying more pressure and they are adjusting to the passing of UND. Once again UND is getting to predictable in where the passes are going. Also the Sioux are seeming to pass up scoring chances to make the pretty play.

Last 9 minutes they played like crap.

This is the time of the game when Strinden really rises.

And after the goal. Now UND is playing with some urgency. Why now, why not before the goal?

Hopefully the Sioux are using the time to looking at how the opponents are applying the pressure. And discussing how to clear up leaving passes in areas that allow the opponents to get to the puck and disrupt or potentially score.

I did not see any hint of time dilation. I must have been only looking at the first clock.

The problem with high pressure in the Sioux defensive zone can lead to garbage around the net. Garbage in that area can be cleaned up by the other team for a sick goal.

The book on UND is high pressure during the penalty and continue the pressure in defensive and offensive ends. This could be a plus for UND once they figure how to respond to the pressure. There will be some odd man rushes.

Any Denver projected lineup for tonight’s game.

This is a type of game that clearly UND needs to experience as they move forward. Congratulations to the players, coaches, fans in the stands and the fans that stayed to the end of the game.

Strinden just seems to get better with every game. What a great deal of effort. Strinden keeps earning my respect.

They did it in the first period taking possession away from UND three times in a few minutes, leading to at least the first two Denver goals.

Sometimes as a coach you have to get the attention of a player. The goal that was scored during the 4x4 may let a player know that they made a mistake. Now I cannot speak for hockey specifically, my major amount of coaching was in a sport that is somewhat like hockey but not the same. But I have benched a player.
