Well, we got our tickets and will be heading up to watch what I think will be the winner of the FF06 play next weekend. I predict the winner of the UND/Gopher game will take it all. So do your job and take care of the evil "M" and we'll see you at the Saturday night game! So you guys have any good places we could get a good WCHA tailgate going?

The WCHA does not pick these teams fella - coaches nominate and ballots are sent to the individual teams.

I had no idea Parise racked up 6 shut-outs this season... correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't there threads on here calling for his head (or perhaps they were merely calling for time for Lammy?) earlier this season? Looks like the kid had another terrific season. If his floppy a$$ gets hot during tourney time, opposing teams need to look out.

Let the chips fall where they may. The ONLY game UND should be worrying about tonite is the one against Michigan Tech. Tomorrow, the only game to worry about is against Michigan Tech.
Beat Tech, beat the first-round WCHA opponent, beat Minnesota in the Final Five semi-finals, and advance to the championship game, then win the Final Five championship. No more worries about PRI.
Amen to that scenario brother!

It's a shame UND couldn't use some of that energy to actually win a title of some sort. Considering 2000 was such a long time ago, is losing by three in the national title game the new UND standard of excellence?

All of you Fighting Sioux fans make me laugh, I mean your so narrowminded that you dont even aknowlege the fact that any team in the WCHA could be any other team on any given night, that is what makes it the best College Hockey League. Now as for the Gopher fans being in big trouble, I mean come on are you really that stupid? Your Sioux or what ever they are called, got beat twice in their backyard this year already and by NO means does that mean that the Sioux are going to win two from the Gophs in their backyard. Lets get real, you got swept by the Gophs, then you almost got handled by Harvard, but it was a split, and then you split with Alaska-Anchorage, that's not a very good streak to be on when you are heading into the "Gopher Den"! Dont get me wrong I'm not saying that the Sioux will get swept again, they have a very good chance to win one, but there is no way that they will sweep the Gophers in Minn. And as for you Sioux fans saying that their whole team is Ryan Potulney and Danny Irmen, two ND boys, and one GF boy, well that is just ludacrist! And tell me this, if the "Ralph" is such a great rink, and the Sioux are so good, well why did they go to Minn. then? Could it be because they want to win a National Championship before they graduate from college? I think so!! Good luck this weekend to the Sioux, they will need it!!

Contrary to most opinions I'm reading...I'm pretty confident for this season to be a good one especially taking a look at what we did last year in an similar situation albeit not losing 5 straight at home. I don't know about most but I can stomach a pair of very close 4-3 losses a bit more than a 6-0 blowout.

Skippy isn't going to have too much to crow about this week after the absolutely pathetic and uninspired performance their boys put in against Wisconsin. Rumor has it that Kesshole is looking into the possibility of a transfer to Madison after realizing the very huge mistake he made at his press conference.
At the post game handshake, one could clearly see Earl, and others, giving Phil a couple of well-deserved digs about how lousy the Gophers were over the weekend, and that it would be too bad that he would not be with them in Milwaukee.

I'd like to swap my two tickets for Jan 14th game between UM/UND at Mariucci Arena for two tickets for UM/UND game at Ralph Engelstad on Dec. 10th. My tickets are in the 3rd row about 10 feet to the right of the Gopher goalie during the 1st and 3rd period. Sight lines are great and you can hear and feel the action down close. Seeking swap for decent seats at Ralph Engelstad. Let me know if you're interested.
