If their going to do an intro it can't have an F bomb dropped in it. I always think they need to honor more of the history in a Sioux intro, they do in that one video, but I don't think its enough
Below is the Hawks video they play right before the Blackhawks take the ice. We have so much history here at UND, I feel like we need to display it a lot more. I know thats bad considering are arena is all history, but pictures on the wall don't pump up the crowd in the arena.
I also think the Sioux should do a lot of what the Blackhawks did this past year and have a specific player night to honor former greats. No number retirement, but a big event before the game to honor former players.

Ahh the F bomb of course would be removed in an edited version......however the video needs to pump up the crowd not be a history lesson (in my opinion)....nothing can pump up a crowd more than Disturbed, POD, GODSMACK et al....

Realistically, I think we will be sharing 1st after next weekend... Hate to say this, but this weekend may be a good time to get a loss out of the way. Go Denver? (not sure I feel comfortable saying that)

For those in the Twin Cities with Comcast, the game MAY be on channel 23 (Minneapolis). Comcast has been putting the Charter Mainstreet games on a shopping channel. The UMD TV schedule shows a mainstreet broadcast.
Any idea what channel it will be on DISH Network?

I heard Dubay talking last night and he is still saying the Sioux are a one line team! He was saying you can see that with such a low scoring game there just isn't a lot of depth to these teams! WOW!

A friend and I will be attending our first Sioux/Gopher game at Mariucci Arena. I've been wanting to attend at Sioux game at Mariucci for 5 years! This year I was finally able to score a couple tickets for the Friday game. We booked a room at the Day's Inn near the arena. Any advice you could offer would be fantastic (ie: parking, restaurants, shuttle service). Also, we have SRO tickets. Unfortunately we are both vertically challenged. LOL! Will we have a hard time seeing the ice? How early should we get to the arena to ensure that we get a good spot? I apologize for all the questions. I just want to ensure that we are prepared when we walk into Gopherville.
Go to Sally's for pre-game beers within a block of the arena. You will see plenty of fellow Sioux fans getting their drink on pre-game.

I'm biased here but I got so pumped up when they played "Keep Away" by Godsmack. They played it when the houselights went down, just before announcing the Sioux starting lineup. They'd show highlights of NCAA hockey championship games.

That was also the theme music to the video montage in the second or third year of the Ralph when they used to show clips of the national championship squads. I say bring that sh&t back! Great stuff...This green eye crap we have now is horrible!
