It was announced that UNLV was approved to move up to ACHA D1. The Miami vs Denver 3x3 was terrible to watch on the Friday game, the Saturday 3x3 Miami was in denvers end the whole time and was much better to watch. But it wasn't back and forth like you would want to see.

I would have been not happy even if they would have won Saturday after loosing Friday.

Why does this have to happen every to every other year? It gets old, same with the slow starts. How is it that other good teams figure it out day one and not half way through the year. There are some quote I don't agree with, one being from Berry. They didn't show up at all this weekend except for one part of the third in Fridays game. Berry needs to stop with the "coach talk" and come out and say they lost to a bad team and looked past Michigan State, and thought Michigan State was a easy win. This from Wolanin. So where are these leaders? Because I haven't seen them yet. If the guys with letters on their jerseys don't want to lead then give it to someone who does.

They are 15 games into the season, the "we have a young team" excuse doesn't apply anymore. Just like the underclassmen excuse, Sophomores are not undreclassmen to me they where here last year so they know how to get it done.

All three goals Cam should have had, yes the second goal was because of a turnover but if Cam doesn't slide out of his net it's not a goal. At some point Berry needs to send the message to Cam that replaced when he doesn't stop the shots he should have had. Right now Cam knows no matter how he plays he will not be pulled or one of the others will get a start. It doesn't look like these guys don't watch tape to see the mistakes they make over and over. Passing is terrible, forcing the puck to someone, trying to make fancy passes, and shooting when a pass is the better option. I don't know if Berry is a players coach, but after this weekend time to be a hard ass, this is an embarrassment and a joke. I feel that there needs to be a change in the D-pairings put the Poolmans together and Saw or Wolanin with Gage. Right now this team should feel embarrassed. Time to figure it out because playing bad now can make you miss the NCAA's at the end of the year.
