2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Their fall from national contender to 2nd last in the conference isn't something that should keep you as a head coach. Maybe next year he gets them out of the bottom, or they finish in the bottom 3. I wouldn't want him to be a head coach at UND like gfhockey keeps thinking he should be.

If things keep going the way they are at Duluth Sandy will be looking for gfhockey to find him a job lol

Spittin' Chiclets giving it to Pinto in the interview When asked about North Dakota "They got hyperbaric chambers in there, rub and tugs" - Biznasty

I'm sure he's replacing Tim Lovell who left after 10 games

Sandy could be gone sooner than later

https://www.sportsnet.ca/ohl/article/usa-hockey-denies-ohl-permission-to-add-two-ushl-teams/ Figured USA Hockey would stop this from happening since they wouldn’t benefit. This I find to be interesting with all the doom and gloom in junior hockey with the NCAA allowing CHL players. I tried to find more on it but this tweet is the only thing so far.

I was on the college hockey Reddit page and there was a post about how Posch injured his foot. A poster was wondering what happened since the radio guy during the UND-St. Cloud game really didn’t go into it other than he hurt his foot. So, they asked someone with ties to the team and was told a toilet tank lid fell on his foot cutting it. The story seemed pretty crazy, right up there with the last crazy foot story. As I was reading the replies and trying to think how this would cause an injury to have him out 2 to 3 months. The poster did post a link with a picture of the foot, I’d be surprised if he plays again this season. Maybe the NCHC playoffs at the earliest. If you want to venture over there it looks pretty bad.

Peter South https://www.podbean.com/ew/pb-p4aen-175e2b9 at 59:40 they start talking about Team USA WJC. This was on December 3rd, so before UND played St. Cloud. Honestly Emery didn't look like he would make the team. I'm surprised Kleber was picked and Fiddler not making the team is surprising for defense. -

It wasn't from a member of the coaching staff. I'm looking for where I heard he would be a cut; this was before the St. Cloud series. -

I heard he was going to be a cut before he went to the camp. -
Rangers trade Kakko to Seattle for Borgen What happened to the Rangers

Looks like he played for a pro team in Czechia, the question is did he get more then expenses (travel and per diem) when playing for a pro team last year. He could have been loaned from the U20 team to the pro team. I hope UND is looking at him.

I think Omaha is the first NCHC team with a CHL commitment.

With how bad them and Wisconsin fell off a cliff. It's hard to even mention them being "bluebloods" anymore.

They had back-to-back destination games because they move the Penn State one. So, they stopped them to not burn out the fan base and keep them fresh. Brad talked about why a smaller venue during one of his podcasts. From what I got from Brad was smaller venue is a better fan experience. If the destination games were losing interest they wouldn't sell out the smaller venue of have a wait list.

Maddox Schultz, Liam Pue, Louis-Oscar Holowaychuk, Cruz Jim, Reid Nicol Landon Pue might be a good role player Liam and Markus Ruck are two I'd like to see how they do this season. Their brother Landon Ruck is playing U15 as a 13 year old and doing well. Ryan Lin and Mathis Preston are at the same points and high ranked 2008's Keaton Verhoeff big (6'4") offensive defensemen
