  1. Yes. He really does seem to be struggling.
  2. I have no idea. I just was pointing out the mistake he made in his other post because several other posters thought it was an amazing statistic.
  3. What is the percentage supposed to be representing? (I know 9 out of 60 is 15%)
  4. Was the purpose of your post to compare 2 completely different statistics, or were you trying to make a comparison between the 36% and the 2%? If you were trying to make a comparison, you failed. One is the percent of professional athletes that came from their respective college sport, whereas the other is the percent of college athletes that make it professional in that sport. I realize these may sound similar, but take a couple seconds to think about it and you'll realize they aren't at all the same. If you want to compare MLB with the 36% statistic, you would need to look up the percent of MLB players that came from college baseball (which I'm assuming is significantly higher than 2%). Or, if you were trying to compare with the 2% statistic, you need to find the percentage of college hockey players that make it to the NHL, which I'm sure is significantly lower than the 36% (I doubt 36% of college hocky players make it to the NHL). Read the stat again. They are completely unrelated.
  5. I am still struggling to figure out what the point of your original post was. Are you saying NDSU's run is less impressive because they were more successful in the regular season, thereby earning home field advantage throughout the playoffs? Would it have been more impressive, in your mind, if NDSU had gone something like 11-10 in their regular season road games since 2011 (as opposed to going 20-1), had to play road games in the playoffs, and then win 3 consecutive national championships and have a semifinals appearance, at minimum, in the 4th year? Also, not insecure about this topic at all. Strange minds just fascinate me. Good luck pheasant hunting.
  6. Did I argue that neutral site games were the same as road games? NDSU is undefeated in road playoff games in their D1 FCS Championship seasons. That is a fact. What was the point you were trying to make with your original quote, which could be misleading to those who were not aware that NDSU had EARNED home field advantage throughout the playoffs each of their FCS Championship seasons? Your quote has as much meaning as saying UND is undefeated against NFL teams.
  7. Since you're saying NDSU has won zero road playoff games "in this stretch", I'm assuming you mean during the run of 3 consecutive national championships. If that is what you are referring to, then to stay away from the neutral/road game debate, I would say that NDSU is undefeated in road playoff games during this stretch. Whether you say a neutral site game is a road game or not, there is no arguing that NDSU has not lost a road playoff game during the stretch that you appear to be referring to.
  8. You do understand that unbeatable and unbeaten do not mean the same thing, right?
  9. I think the most unbelievable part of this is that Stony Brook has played 3 teams this year that are averaging less points per game than UND.
  10. The logic behind this is flawless... You do realize that every successful comeback in the history of sports gets closer and the game gets closer to the end, right?
  11. I'm pretty sure the MVFC was 7-1 against the Big Sky this year.
  12. That is true, but the ac also rolled Montana State the following week 42-17 in Bozeman. However, I will say that I think UND gets a 10+ point win tomorrow.
  13. How did the Weber State home and home affect that scenario in 2015? Weber State will be in Fargo in 2015. Unless you're assuming that they will buy it out like Montana State did, but then the buyout would mean that date was open again to get another home game to replace Weber State. If anything, the Montana home and home would affect the 6 home games and an FBS game in 2015 since NDSU will be going to Montana that year.
  14. Sagarin doesn't rank D2 schools. I think you're thinking of compughterratings.com
  15. This was the first post mentioning anything about NDSU/Bison/FU/etc. (post #26) This is the second post mentioning anything about NDSU/Bison/SU/FU/etc. (post #32)
