I just watched the cfb on jordan schmaltz and it looked bad so I'm ok with that call. Thanks for putting that up Goon. Could u possibly put the one up on Dillon Simpson?

They don't have to put in so many specifics. They could say something simple like "We are happy to have Don join the NCHC. He will be a great addition to the league." Instead they talked about how well respected he is within college hockey, how much knowledge he has and all of his great experience. And I don't think that Lou Vairo is answering to anyone in the NCHC so he can probably say whatever he wants.

I'm kind of curious why they would pick Adams for the NCHC after what he said and I'm wondering why he still officiates Sioux games. I wouldv liked Gasperini to be in charge of the NCHC in some way but he's with St. Cloud so that won't happen. Im not trying to be a homer if I sound like one. If St. Cloud or any team beat us and we played like sh*t im fine with that but would they have won if the correct calls were made, if so great.

Hey Goon, I read your little piece about you sent to the WCHA office and I know how much we don't like big daddy Sh*thead and I know he probably doesn't like us but how can he possible call that a no goal? So what he's pretty much saying is that the refs can pretty much take a goal away from a team if they want to. It feels like all the Sioux can do is deal with it and keep trying which gets really annoying. Obviously the Sioux havn't been playing that well on Saturday nights and sometimes it's their fault I didn't watch the game on Saturday but I listened to it and saw some of the clips. I didnt realize that it was Leblanc and Schmaltz apparently checked from behind, I heard someone say that Leblanc is a pretty good sized guy so for him to go down as easily as he apparently did is kind of ridiculous and someone check simpson from behind and got a 2 min, just what I heard. So even if the Sioux had a bad game, wouldn't it be hard to get yourself going if some of these calls keep happening from the refs? Like I said i didn't watch the game so maybe the Sioux did play that bad. Just curious what your thought were and anyone else. Ok i have more to rant but not good at putting things into words

And the sad part about it is nothing will happen with Adams, we the fans and the FIGHTING SIOUX mens hockey team just have to deal with it. It pisses me off just to say that. Reminds me of that lame intent to blow the whistle rule, which has anyone ever heard of that rule in any other game besides that Sioux game?

A few years ago he was "suspended" from working UND games after he was $h!tfaced in Sugars Lounge and was babbling to everyone that he hated the Sioux and had no problem screwing them over....not sure why that "suspension" would ever be lifted?

NESN picked it up. They will broadcast the Charter Husky feed. Looks like Directv or Dishnetwork are the only options in the midwest, [DirecTV 628, Dish 434]
I just looked, I don't have channel 628:( looks like the radio again tonight. It's so stupid UND supposedly has the best fan base in college hockey yet we can't get a good TV deal for away games!!!!

Ok I do not like the saturday is not our night excuse. I once the third period started UND looked sluggish. They can't play like theyr on the penalty kill when it's 5 on 5! And that third goal, they let the BU player skate in the zone and watched him skate to the net, why do they do that?

Mr. Grimaldi needs to learn one thing: How to finish.
If he hadn't drawn iron in the third (and instead made it 3-1) the game would've been over.
I have no doubt that he will learn how to finish and when he does he's going to be that much more fun to watch!

I wish Saunders would get the start again, I think he is clearly our #1 right now, Its an early season, non-conference match up, I would be fairly surprised if Gothberg doesn't play tonight.
i like your first line but I think St. Clair and Caggiula should switch spots with each other.

I agree with this too! Where can we start bitching about this, so that they can fix this issue? I prefer the interlocking ND logo to be used!!!

Uuuuum having the interlocking ND on center ice would offend me, im never gonna say why it would im just going to say it would so it cant happen. Yes I was being sarcastic considering I never actually heard any reasons why a certain schools mascot or logo was considered hostile and abusive, it just was. Yes im still bitter like a lot of people are!

100% concur with one exception- I wrote almost the identical post this afternoon at work, which i lost due to not being logged in. Oh, and Wilbur- I am by no means an expert- I play one on the internet : )
My one change is that I put Schmaltz with Mac and Mattson with Forbert- give the rookie first rounder some padding with the MAC truck
I was thinking about putting Schmaltz with MacWilliam and Mattson with Forbort but if the they do that I think they'll wait until Schmaltz finds his groove but i could be wrong.

Macmillian-Grimaldi-Parks
Chyzyk-Rowney-Caggiula
St. clair-Pattyn-Rodwell
I think O'Donnel will play with Knight and Kristo. I don't think you want to break up the chemistry between Macmillian and Parks, Grimaldi can center the second line with them which is not an insult to Rowney at all. Rowney centers the third line with Caggiula and Chyzyk at wing, it worked last year with the freshman, maybe it'll work again this year. They said St.Clair Pattyn and Rodwell looked good together so they will make a good grinding line. The thing I like about this year team is I think we can have 2 scoring lines and 2 grinding lines or 3 scoring lines and 1 grinding line depending who's on the third line with Rowney.
