  1. Rebraca is struggling in this first half on both ends (but he has 4 assists) 33-31 UND
  2. UND has 10 assists on 12 made shots, that's pretty good.
  3. UND 30 ORU 29 3:45 1st TO UND The rebounding is less than impressive 22-13 so far for ORU.
  4. Brown hit that from the Air Force Base 30-24 UND
  5. 4th 3 for Moody 27-24 UND
  6. UND 4-7 from 3 so far. Need to keep that number right around there for the rest of the game.
  7. UND 24 ORU 22 7:30 1st
  8. I'm hoping Moody just slipped on that defensive effort 22 all
  9. Moody 3 again but Rebraca needed to finish around the rim on his attempt 22-20 UND
  10. UND 19 ORU 17 10:12 1st UND doing a decent job attacking this 2-3 zone with people getting and making plays in the soft middle.
  11. Moody again 17-15 UND
  12. that was a nice play from Seales to Rebraca 11 all
  13. Brooks works his tail off on the defensive end
  14. I guess neither team has their best big on the floor tonight (Avants for UND, Nzekwesi for ORU) Seales with 6 to lead UND
  15. UND 9 ORU 9 14:37 1st
  16. ORU 3 in response 7-5 ORU
  17. 2-0 ORU after free throws and 2.5 minutes of bricks
  18. While UND put up a decent first half fight, it was all SDSU in the 2nd half as UND fell to another Dakota 3 school. UND returns home for their final 2 home games of the season and they are very important games to try and make it to Sioux Falls. First up, a rematch up Oral Roberts ORU sits in a position where they might not be moving much. They can catch up to the top 4 unless NDSU losses out and ORU wins out and they have enough of a space from the bottom 4 to where they can't fall out of 5th place. With that said, I'm sure they still want to finish with a winning conference record, and with their 4 current leading scorers coming back next year, they could be thinking a strong finish to the season could mean high marks for next year. The strength is in their two 6'8 forwards (Nzekwesi and Obanor), and these two tore up UND on the inside, combining for 57 points in the 83-72 win down in Tulsa. This was of course with Avants in the lineup. If Avants can't go again, that would give them a bigger advantage on the inside. If that is the case: Walter and Rebraca need to stay out of foul trouble and have to play solid defensively against these two. UND is going to need to hit shots from the outside and they will get these looks from the Oral zone that will be thrown out against them. Just need to move the ball, attack the zone and when you get a good look, bury the sucker. UND is running out of winnable games and these next two could be their last chance of getting wins. With how things have gone, just getting one could be enough to secure their spot in Sioux Falls. Losing these two would put them in a world of hurt and could require a win at either Fort Wayne or Vermillion to save their season. If there is good news, if they can find a way to finish 3-1 to end the season, it would be enough to vault them into 6th place in the conference standings. Scoreboard watching: USD @ WIU Need to be USD fans for this one to keep WIU from leapfrogging UND. The call: UND is going to have to hit enough outside shots to win this one, even if they have Avants or not. I think ORU will still do well scoring from the paint but I do think UND will hit enough shots on the outside to get the win. UND 81-77 Game is on the Tres
  19. The committee didn't My late prof I think had him 3rd when he served on that committee. Had the Boise guy as his top choice. I wish he was still around to discuss this.
