Denver always seems to have a handful of forwards who have a mercurial streak to them. Very dynamic, creative, always dangerous players. Risk takers. I don’t think we recruit enough of these types. Schmaltz, Caggulia, Jost and Gersich from our recent past come to mind. But they are too few and far between for me.

We need to recruit more forwards like Denver. I say this realizing they flipped one of our recruits who’s done well for them this year.

It’s the opposite of what you say. Laser times are slower. Hand times are typically faster. Pro day times are notoriously faster. Laser start and laser finish is the slowest. Hand start laser finish is faster. Hand only is fastest. But it is interesting and hilarious how scouts still don’t rely on the statistically superior method of timing and stick with the ol stop watch.

A fishbowl. That’s what was missing this year. Didn’t see a single UND player rocking a fishbowl. By my count, we haven’t won a single national championship in the modern era, 90s-today, without at least one guy in a fishbowl. Who’s gonna step up next year and wear one? Gaber seems like a good candidate. Maybe one of the fr? Either way, somebody has to do it for us to hang 9.

They used to have a huge dry aged steak with caramalized mushrooms and garlic and onions on top for like $100 and it was unreal. Had that probably 5 years ago though so who knows
