  1. Think what you want, I won’t lose any sleep over it.
  2. You don’t know for sure. I don’t know for sure. But someone who told me knows someone who knows for sure. Plays were changed by Zimm, Rudy wasn’t happy.
  3. I’m aware of how spread teams operate. If they make a bad check they’ll obviously address it. But if a qb makes a check that results in a big play that the OC didn’t necessarily instruct him to do is that really a bad thing? I’m not a fan of micro management, it doesn’t work.
  4. Again making very broad reaching definitive statements.
  5. Shh, he’s trying to teach us football.
  6. None? You know this for a fact? No qb in any program at any college has ever been given this amount of control of the offense? Specifically, no qb in North Dakota has ever been given this responsibility?
  7. There have been qbs in our program before that have been given enough freedom to adjust things as they saw fit. Same with other programs at the college level. To reprimand a player for increasing the success rate of the offense is ridiculous.
  8. "something he shouldn't" interesting.... So a qb shouldn't have any input over play calling? He should just go with whatever is called from the box and disregard anything he sees or feels from the field? This is D1 football not 5th grade.
  9. I've probably watched it more than you. I was there in person and the offense had terrible flow. You could feel it every time they were on the field, especially in the 4th quarter.
  10. The offense didn’t make a single drive that resulted in points after the initial drive of the second half.
  11. We owe them a couple of ass whoopings.
  12. Like against Richmond....
  13. Going up tempo does not mean for the entire game. It can literally be for two plays in a row. Catch them off balance. Pound the rock a couple of times out of the no huddle and get a free first down. I’ve seen it done where they see a certain run play crush a defense so they do it out of the hurry up 4 or so times in a row and then while the defense is reeling they pop a play action pass over the top for a big gain or a TD. Also, some on this board don’t have an outside look.
  14. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t go hurry up and rip a teams throat out when we have a good rhythm. If we catch them with a bad matchup it should be go time. Still haven’t seen it yet under Bubba.
  15. Honestly though that was the worst tackling I’ve ever seen.
  16. The good ol boy network is very real and it has very real consequences to Grand Forks’ growth.
  17. The offense is plenty experienced to be flexible.
  18. Funny thing about experience. You can’t have some until you get it.
  19. Did this actually happen? Because you’ve fabricated things like this in the past.
  20. There's a difference between having swagger/confidence and portraying the fake over the top swag bro bs. That's all an act and it distracts from getting the job done. Some people are more boisterous than others naturally but a guy hopping around the field in circles for 15 seconds waving his finger at the 250 fans who showed up to the game after recording your first sack of the season is the type of crap that causes a team to never win a game. I like fire, passion, and swagger. I hate swag.
  21. Often the best athlete on the team
  22. I don’t think it would be good for program culture to sit them in that context. The best players should play regardless of tenure.
  23. It all goes back to wins. An emotional player on a winning team is the lifeblood and spark plug. On a losing team they’re immature and selfish. A calm guy on a winner is stoic and cerebral. On a loser they don’t care and are not fully invested.
  24. PSU has enough swag for a 15 win season and enough execution for a 0 win season.
