  1. WTF? Apparently the refs think the game will move along faster when it's 5 on 3...
  2. Yes, you are correct - I originally planned to post in the thread with that info and then changed my mind. Sorry for the confusion!
  3. I just spoke to the satellite guy at Senser's - for some reason he doesn't have internet access right now, and he asked me to post the following information about the availability of the Duluth series this weekend for him: -There is NO TV available for Friday night. -Senser's is TRYING to get the game for Saturday night - they are bringing in a separate dish and engineer to attempt to pick up the digital signal, but there are NO GUARANTEES that this will work. The digital coordinates posted above are for a raw feed (no graphics, no stats, just the clock) out of Duluth and he estimates that they have a 90/10 chance of being able to pick it up. He also recommended that large parties consider making reservations. For reservations (Bloomington) or questions (ask for John Innes), call (952) 835-1191. He will be there and can answer your questions tonight and tomorrow night, as well as Saturday night. Just passing on the message...
  4. Does the Dataflix feed always cut off immediately after the game ends? I would have like to have seen the replay of the Smaby "slashing" and listened to the post-game...
  5. Brent_Bobyck - you're aware that they don't have the DU games this weekend, aren't you?
  6. Pul-leez!! This is the third season that my husband and I have have been going to Sensers to watch Sioux hockey. Started when Zack was just a glimmer in Blais' eye... I distinctly remember going into Senser's, satellite coordinates in hand, and begging the manager to put the game on. Granted, JP and family probably spend a heck of a lot more at Senser's than the rest of us, but you can thank the die hard Sioux fans for making Senser's the place to be for Sioux hockey. A beer special during Sioux games would be nice...are you reading this, Joe?
  7. cheesemover is the TV guy from senser's who e-mailed me to see if I could get the coordinates for the Sioux vs. DU games this weekend. The coordinates that he posted in that SCSU thread are for the Sioux home games broadcast from the Ralph. I've talked to DU's athletic dept, Comcast in Denver and Comcast in Mpls, and so far, it doesn't look good for getting the games here this weekend.
  8. I saw the light quite a while ago - 6 years, maybe? I met and married a die-hard Sioux fan and the transformation was simply inevitable (and necessary, frankly). We've been together for about 9 years and I resisted for as long as I possibly could... Incidently, I'm also an alum of DU, but my grad school program was only a year and that never really took.
  9. I got an e-mail from the TV guy at Senser's - the game is on Comcast (only) in Denver, so as of yesterday, he wasn't sure if he would be able to get it. I called DU and they suggested calling Comcast directly. If anyone can get the satallite coordinates, he asked me to pass them on and he will make sure to have the game on...
