Boy it can get your head spinning trying to figure all the possibilities and what if's.I believe your right in saying just win and hopefully the chips will fall in the right place.Thinking back some of those close games might be the nails in our coffin. Time to lace em up and get it done

Honestly the only teams I root against are the teams the Sioux are playing or now the ones who might help us in the NCAA regionals. Thanks for the input it helps put things in perspective.
-
So we shouldn't root fot the Gophers then
-
Hey Sagard what will happen to the comparison with Denver if your boys sweep and we sweep the Dogs and split with Denver next weekend?
-
I just put Sioux/Gophers 1998 "The Great Comeback" on DVD, and I'm watching it, and I got to the point where someone threw a live gopher on the ice. I was wondering if anyone on the board knows who threw that, or how they contained it until the 3rd period of the game. Something I've always wondered about this game. Just thought somebody may know the answer to my question.
Siouxdonyms I would love to have a copy of that dvd if at all possible. I'am also looking for a copy of the NCAA regional game between UND and Michigan, message me if it would be possible to copy that.

Maybe Adam could come back and give the boys faceoff lessons, boy he didn't lose many draws
-
Wasn't he with Matt Henderson and Jason Ulmer?
You are correct sir

Tool of the month, tff we need to keep that honor for our guests

Skippy alert,cue the man(PCM)

Hopefully Hakstols following in his mentors footsteps, first year runner-up second year ?

Not discounting anything Gino did but I think he was blessed with more talented players but Blais's teams did it with more determination and hard work. Jason Blake was fast but Jeff Panzer took it to another level. Best fight has to be the water bottle fight in Wisconsin,Eades having a cop tell him if he throws one more he's going to jail and Archy's sparks from running across the beer garden with skates on

Goosefraba Goosefraba Goosefraba(just keep saying that Triouxper)

No problem, with all these memories that have been brought up I could almost change half of my choices. We are very lucky to have seen such talent come through here. I know sometimes I whine about the coaches and how the team is playing but I will be a Fighting Sioux fan for life even if they didn't win another game.

I believe that hit was by Defauw not Pivetz. Hoogsteen getting smoked by Blaker after the 2nd goal is something I will never forget.

Favorite 2-way player: Adam Calder
Rory Mcmahon
-
Best slap shot(we could use a few now) tie between Jason Herter and Nick Naumenko

Geez am I the only old guy on this board, and I'am not that old. Cue PCM.
-
Favorite check Ryan Byda in the 2000 Final five against Wisconsin, opening five minutes Ryan takes out the Senior Desner(sp) behind the Badger net.

Psssssst...your youth is showing, AZSIOUX.
I'll cut straight to the chase and go with the last category. For me, nothing can top the 1997 WCHA Final Five when former Edina Hornet Peter Armbrust buries a rebound in OT to give the Sioux a 4-3 victory over the Gophers. All those dejected Gopher fans had to be thinking "it's 1989 all over again" at the old St Paul Civic Center. You gotta believe...and I think that Sioux team right then and there realized that it was possible for the impossible to come true. They sealed the deal a short time later with a 5-3 win over BU in the 1997 NCAA title game.
Mafiaman it was priceless when the Sioux fans reversed the rouser N-O-R-T-H D-A-K-O-T-A YEAH Sioux loved every minute of it

-I'm already with you. I've been voting since it opened, when it was still open to any player on all the teams.GO SIOUX!!! We need a Hobey.
They can have there Hobeys give me #8

Time to bring some Sioux talk into this boring day. Favorite goal scorer,Russ Romaniuk. You just knew if he got the puck any where near the circles it was going in. Favorite tough guy Archibald hands down, I love how Prpich plays but Archy is in a class by himself.Best set up guy,Greg Johnson way to unselfish to a fault.Favorite goalie would be Aaron Switzer in 96-97 his save on Spehar in the old Ralph is still the best I have seen.Best team would be 86-87 just dominated everyone except the the Gulls from San Diego
I'am sure there our plenty of other opinions out there so lets here em.

Does anyone have figures from last years defenseman and how much they were involved in scoring.

NDH is a stand up guy. Me on the other hand, I'm an eh-es-es-hole, and I've admitted it several times. It's the first step toward recovery.
I know,I know
just ask your buddies from the Kessel thread

You may not know me raynman, but you should know me well enough to know that I love you, as I do all solid Fighting Sioux fans.
Ain't nothing wrong with being a savant. Even an idiot savant.
No worries,if the Triouxper can't insult me I think I can survive this message board
