When does the team release the roster for next year normally ?

We can speculate all we want but we don’t now what the coaching staff is thinking. I wonder who is going to be the fourth coach.

Easier to just grab players from the portal then coach the players you , meaning Berry and crew , recruited.

I think one thing Berry needs to do better is set his lines and let them create some chemistry , new line mates every week has to be a little difficult to get used too.

Shout out to 4,6,18,20 and 21 forget about the portal and work hard in the off season and show everybody what your made of.

So Berry shines if it’s a season long battle but his teams fall short in one and done formats.

So what will that say to recuits if we have nhl draft picks enter the portal, not a job look.

But high end talent would rather not be a healthy scratch which could happen in with this coaching staff, seems like Berry has his favorites and plays then I matter what, Rhett, Senden , Hain and all the portal guys. If the players you and your staff recruited aren’t good enough to play over portal guys what does that say about their recruiting and coaching, I will beat a dead horse here if Johnson was good enough to come in over Morrow why hasn’t he been coached to play D, he has talent just need to coach the skill.

We know that Berry is a players coach, at least to some players. Someone mentioned maybe we were way to soft with all of our advantages , charter flights, catered meals etc.

They recruit players then put them on a shelf and bring in mercenaries , if your staff recuits these players then develop them into the players you recruited.

Let’s look at Berrys record , 8 seasons I ncaa title in his first year, on the road for Nchc league playoffs twice , has missed the NCAA’s three times now and first round ncaa exits three times ( yes one was a 5 ot game but if we don’t score two extra attacker goals never makes it that far) Berry needs to figure this out or step aside before his precious culture is the culture of losing. We looked very slow against UM, Denver and St. Cloud.

Berry is the easy fix guy , instead of coaching the guys you recruited let’s plug our portal or fifth year guys in instead of coaching. We do you think 6-18-21-20 are thinking right now. Instead of coaching them and helping them improve just go with the portal/5th year guys. How may teams would have 19-10-27 as top six players. Berry needs to do his job and recruit and develop players not come up with easier (for him) solutions in his line up. If he loses players to the portal don’t think that won’t be a black eye for recruiting. The goalie situation is just laughable.
