Funny how the hand shake line is to sacred to not hammer someone. But not sacred enough for someone to keep his smart ass mouth shut to deserve a beating, but that same pansy knows the beating will stop quick enough because it is the sacred hand shake line......only the little girls from Mn get away with this and a year later still rub it in the face of the fan base from the retaliation team!!

Really.......can't people just have fun with it and not knock a guy trying to start a convo because the boys looked good and that line gave us all a sense of butt kickin time is starting just in time.....

At the lake cabin this weekend because they got a foot of snow by Bemidji. We are going to ride! So I'm watching the game on FCS, first time, and I've read all the complaints! First I think Hammer and Kober are fine to listen to. Katie is hot, does a good interview, her accent that everyone bitches about is the same as 90% of the people around here! The voice does NOT line up with their lips and that does drive me nuts! Over all I have to ask, what's with all the major complaining? I'm usually at the games, so this is the first for me.

I knew both Rocco and Danny hit pipes, but I wasn't sure if Danny did post then bar. A 2poster is soooo close.
That one sure looked like it went in and out, they never reviewed it and I have seen no replay of it!

Getting one of four points to the number one team in the nation on Olympic ice is a good thing! I hate the goofs but I love them also! What a great weekend, the Sioux got the short end but let's see what happens at the end of the year! What a great weekend of hockey, I will miss this rivalry!!

this has more to do than with what happened last night. look over the last few weeks, look at the types of goals he/they have allowed an x factor goalie doesn't let those types in game, after game.

Which is no good. But when you drop the Tool line, you (well, him/her not you personally) are just making my point. There is no room for any of it. Theoretically our kids are the next generation of fans. Why turn them off. Why call people names when it is brought up?
Some people just do not get it. The odd thing is, that I have brought them to other venues and never had an issue.

It happens everywhere, and I dislike it also, but what do you do? The tool comment was because you made it sound like Sioux fans are the only ones that act like that. Danny is reading the trailer and looking to clear out a rebound to turn it back up ice. Possibly creating a 3-2 the other way.
Joe didn't check him effectively, but still pushed Condon pretty wide.
Let's not blame Joe or Clarke or Danny and call it like it is...that was just a beautiful snipe of the far-side upper from a tough angle.
I agree, I think Danny didn't take the guy with the puck because he was doing his responsibility on that scenario...

Great post! It's just crazy for Sioux fans to claim the Minnesota program never supported the others in our state. They simply don't realize how important it was to make sure the U keeps playing those schools, far more important than playing UND.
Oh please, just go away! Can't you go stroke each other on GPL?

Have not posted here for quite a while. That being said now is a good time to break the silence. (not that anyone really cared
)I will miss the rivalry as far as the talent level of the team to be named later goes. They have always been competitive, even more so late in the season when it counts most. It will be tough to find the intensity anywhere else.
I can do without the post whistle sillyness that always seems to occur when MN plays the team from 94 West. I am sure it happens when the Gophers play other teams as well, but definitely not with the frequency I have seen historicly, and I expect to see this weekend.
Regarding the fan base... Welll, if I never see another Whioux fan, I am good with that. I am sure that there are decent, grounded fans of your team out there, but I have not met them. When your fan base started hurling F-Bombs at my 5 year olds in Grand Forks a few years back, you lost me. If they wanted to rip me because I was wearing Maroon and Gold, that is fine. (dumb, but fine) I am a big boy and I can dela with it. But when groups of people start yelling and swearing at kids, (adults were doing this, not teenagers) it is pretty disgusting. Not sure how that made them feel tough, dropping the FBomb on kids til they cried and laughing. Pretty pathetic.
So, if I never come across a ND fan again, fine with me. You will not be missed.
Meanwhile, it should be a good series this weekend. Hopefully the games are close, and no one gets hurt.
Wow is this pathetic! I could give examples of this at the REA from goof fans during a home game against the rodents. My daughter was 8 than, and the jerk of was trying to pick a fight with a 70 year old Sioux fan. But hey, make sure your claim "all Sioux fans are like the ones you encountered" Maybe I should do the same? Tool......

Isn't 9 and 10 anyone? The number 6 seed won it two years in a row, isn't that anyone? How about we wait and see? If 11 and 12 is Alaska and Duluth or Tech and Bemidji, and your not worried about them.........good luck!
