I was standing on the rail on that end. This happened the very next series after he scrambled around towards the end zone and threw a ball up for grabs that was picked off.  Defense bails us out and on the very next possession he basically does the same thing again minus throwing it up for grabs so not sure about it being a learning experience when it was literally not even 2 minutes of game time later.

That said, I agree, no reason to get on our kids. I was near the goalpost but I heard several fans screaming "throw the ball away"  and "get rid of it" during and after the play and he looked up in their direction and appeared to say something.

I definitely agree with this point to an extent.  Verbally attacking these student athletes with derogatory language or with personal attacks is absolutely uncalled for.  But if fans were merely yelling to Kett to "Throw the ball away" and "Get rid of it" I see nothing at all wrong with it.  If Kett is bothered by it, good.  It means that he hears it and hopefully will not make that mistake next time.  I jet these players are college students.  But if a 22 year old "kid" should be able to take a little criticism, even from his own fanbase.  I am sure much worse was said to him last week by the student section in Cheney after throwing 3 picks and a fumble.

Pioneer for now. Maybe MVFC or whatever later down the line. ('whatever' because who knows what the landscape will be 10 years from now)

Have to assume the NCAA waiver is just a formality. Can't believe it's gotten to this point without ST or the SL getting a positive response from the NCAA.

It will be interesting to see what St Thomas does with football.  If they want to really invest in being D!, football is their money maker.  Would be great to see them eventually joing the MVFC and play at Alianz Field!!

  4. Davis has struggled recently, but they have a very explosive offense.  I think our D will keep them from blowing us out of the water, but I don't think our Kett led offense has enough to keep up.

    UCD - 31

    UND - 21

  5. Unfortunately there is little they can do about the seating location.  They messed up by not putting the students at the end when the arena first opened up.  Gonan be hard to tell people that have donated thousands upon thousands of dollars to UND and have been season ticket holders for nearly 2 decades that they can no longer have the seats they have been siting in since the arena opened.

Kett has been named the starter.

I will not say that it is the wrong decision. I wonder though if he has a short rope.

Are the coaches willing to substitute or will they not even consider it and back Kett all the way?

If Kett is on a short rope, I think the decision to roll with him or pull him for Schuster needs to be made sooner rather than later.

It happens all over college football. There are even students st Alabama and Clemson that go to FB games and are not there to watch a game. Shocking I know...

Do you think NDSU fans and administration paid off ESPN and SI to get them to rate NDSU in the Top 5 game day atmospheres/experiences in all of college football? Maybe your beef is with the national sports media outlets and not NDSU fans.

Laying the sarcasm on pretty thick.  If you can't pick up on that, that's your problem.  You are on a UND message board.  We are going to make fun of other prgrams (especially NDSU).  Try to not be so offended.  IT"S A JOKE!!!!!:D
