There was a lot of things going on in GF like the big Seitz Memorial race.
talked to a couple of guys in town from langdon for the seitz and he said the attendance over there was pathetic on friday night...

talked to a concession employee of the alerus today and he made very clear to me from what alerus "management" has told him....there will never be anything between the two alerus logos.. ever.

ill make a deal with ya...every 4th and 1 we go for this year go ahead and bring sutton in and all the rest of the plays give it to the guys that can actually make a defender miss and then turn on the speed and take to the endzone???

also, mesereau had one tackle in the sd if i remember correctly...cloridon kennedy also had one tackle in limited time and it was a hit that mesereau has had about three years to do but hasn't but took cloridon about one quarter into his und career to pancake a kid.....

i see sparks giving miller a run for his money for the starting spot by the end of the year....i could flip it back on you...why do you have sutton rated so high? but my reason is speed!! miller, garman, shaubagay, and sparks are all faster than sutton and can take it to the house everytime they touch the ball...sutton runs vertically and very straight and that is why he gets hurt...he is an easy target to tee off on because of his running style

marcus is gonna be just fine in both the portland game and san diego game...he's gonna make plays with both his arm and his legs in both games and keep in mind that his choices of receivers he is throwing to in these games are much improved (and bigger--jackson and townsend) from when he last played in Missoula....

The best play of the night was when miller caught a short pass by the Big Sky logo and cut upfield to the Alerus logo and changed direction and crossed over to the other Alerus logo and broke a tackle and made it all the way to the Altru logo before being tackled.

i've been the races here in town dozens of times and i do follow nascar...it's not that i don't like racing its just in my opinion the only thing that really needs to be in the paper are results back in d-5 which would free up nelson to cover und athletics a little more now which isn't much....

make wayne the full time race guy and hire someone else to do a little more coverage of und athletics...racing draws that many people because they compete with absolutely nothing else in grand forks in the summer

i'm not too worried about luther college and northern kentucky....Fighting Norse and all the other norse mythology would make UND a lot of money....

Two schools are currently using the name Norse, 12 are using the Vikings including one in our new conference. We should steer clear of that name, it's not original enough.
we would be the only University of North Dakota Fighting Norse!!!

its just that there is so much speculation about the ipf that it would be nice if the herald sat down with faison or muss and just ask a few questions to see how close it is to being a reality and so forth instead of people on here and sab saying they know someone that knows someone that saw a a construction worker near the old engelstad digging a hole?

isn't that the media's job to at least ask the questions?...but at least an interview and when the $ migh be donated, how much $ might be donated, and other stuff could be asked? too bad wayne nelson is too busy tweeting about race cars and such to find out?

i think that bball will see a big big jump in attendance.....partly because d1 bball isn't split like football (big/small fbs/fcs). one thing that bugs me about the betty is the how far the fans are from courtside...at hyslops guys inbounding the ball almost had to ask fans to move a little...now they are a good five to six fee back on the east and west and ten to 12 feet back on the north and south risers.....MOVE THEM UP

i've seen that one but its from four days ago just wondering what progress has been made....the oliver stone in me says that the alerus people are gonna give the people what they want at mid-field and when that install-cam gets turned on a "nd" will be at midfield?

mackey stinks...time to try someone else younger and see what they can do
kennedy week one hit of the game / goard week two hit of the game...did goard sit the rest of the game after that hit or was it just me....he and jablonski need to play more
