Close....Maximum of a 18 skaters and three goalies can dress. For exhibition games, teams are allowed 21 skaters and three goalies. Tate would be eligible to play.
Holy Cross dressed three goalies both nights against us this year.
. The thing or one of things i messed up on was Merrimack. Since they are leading hockey east as of now he considers them the champion for now. I just took the top 16 of the pair wise.
Which is possible if there is 5 or more teams from a conference. I still think they would try and avoid it.....and in this case to avoid it all you have to do is switch a 11 and 12 seed....bracket integrity would not be compromised much.
...and for those who believe in that conspiracy theory....it is possible to switch Denver and Yale...which would do two things 1) maintain bracket integrity. 2) Put both teams closer to home....but since we are a month away and it's just a guess....i'm keeping my bracket .....
Moys latest bracket will be out later today....i'm guessing it will look something like this.
Grand Rapids
2) Minnesota vs 14) UMass- Lowell
7) Minnesota State vs 10) Niagra
Manchester
4) New Hamphsire vs 16) Union
5) BC vs 11) Denver
Toledo
3) Miami vs 13) BU
6) North Dakota vs 12) Yale
Providence
1) Quinnipiac vs 15) ND
8) W. Michigan vs 9) SCSU
How would that apology go...."aahhhh sorry guys for using the phrase choke job the other night when you guys !@#$ the bed. I was out of line and it won't happen again."
yes they did in 2008....just learned something today. First round matchups are avoided unless a conference has 5 or more teams selected. In that case integrity of the bracket is maintained. So it would be possible to have three teams from one conference in a regional.
