  1. Don't know how to spell his name either, but isn't that the guy that got a hat trick against Tech? Glad to see he's giving everybody fits.

I don't think I'm going to get the TV feed down here. I've got FSN, but it usually shows games from the southwest. I just paid $10 to increase my CFB coverage on Dish Network, but not sure what I'm going to get yet. Guess I'll be screening all the 'alternate' channels at game time. Just in case, anyone know if there's a radio or video feed on the internet? Thanks. BTW, Tech's game is on FS-Southwest at 7 tonight. Playing Kansas St, a mediocre team but with a running game we've not seen this year. Potts is still out (concussion), but that may be a good thing the way he's played the last couple games.

SIOUX 38 yankee boys 13 (....letting the Sioux slide on the whole yankee thing. It's the western element that saved you from that demeaning slur.)
  4. Bless all the little pygmies.
  5. Looks like we both came back after a hard loss. Feeling good. Bet your guys were glad to stop playing 1,000 miles away from home.
  6. It was sloppy, but I'll take it. 5 turnovers and gave up an onside kick.
  7. Tech playing New Mexico - a really bad team. Potts (QB) threw 2 INTS and played bad, got 'hurt' from hitting head late in 2nd qtr w/ game tied 7-7. Backup QB comes in, plays lights out - score now 35-7 Tech in 3rd.
  8. Sorry I'm Late, boys. Tech is playing, too. 14-12 UND, right?
  9. Go Sioux! Time to start a streak now that the long road games are over.
  10. Nobody knows for sure about the suspension other than he 'broke team rules'. There have been lots of rumors but the most persistent is that he called out the coach about the bad play calls that cost the game. I'd do the same if I had the chance. That's the unfortunate tradition for Leach teams - at least once a year (except last year) we have a bad loss, a game we could easily have won except for some boneheads calls or plays. UH was our bad loss this year, so maybe it's out of our system.
  11. I'm curious about yout stadium set-up. How many does it seat? How much do general admissions tickets cost for your games? Is this the stadium I've read about that is basically indoors? That climate up there must be hell on late season games. Tickets for the UND game in Lubbock were $55 I think. I paid the same for the Rice and Kansas games, but Oklahoma and Texas A&M are $95. Ouch!!
  12. We're having the same kind of turmoil here. Our forums are all over the map trying to decide where the problem(s) is/are. I, for one, am really bummed out over the Houston loss. They are a good team, but we are better. Our coach made some bone-headed calls, one of which cost us the game. And it looks like the team itself is going through some finger-pointing. You may have seen where one of our captains (the one with the crazy face paint) was suspended for some undisclosed team violation. Rumor has it that he called out Coach Leach for calling that QB sneak on 4th and goal (which you guys stuffed several times) instead of the power running which had worked all night. Recruiting is the key to getting better, for sure. Especially when you run across a good spread offense like SFA where speed will kill you and open-field tackles are a key. We lived on that for several years because most teams had not faced our type of offense very much. I think you know what I mean. SFA was obviously clicking on all cylinders unlike us when we played. Our rookie QB is still not up to speed. Our last 4 nationally televised games have all been losses. That can't be good for recruiting. We still have 4 more ranked teams to play this year. It could get ugly, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger. OTOH, sometimes you learn more from a loss. I'll try to keep my head up if y'all do the same. At least we have two patsies to play next before we go to Nebraska.

The guys may just be a little road-weary. Plus it's really humid down at SFA tonight and pretty warm, too.

YEE HAW!! The boys ain't quitting, that's for sure. One other thing I was watching for - on both sides of the ball, their lineman all had their hands on their hips. I only saw one of ours doing that. May be nothing, may bode well for the 2nd half.
