Has there ever been anyone in any sport at UND that has received a C without ever putting on the uniform for UND? No one can disagree with what the twins have done in the past, but the fact that they will be wearing C's this year had to catch many people of guard. Lewis was the top point getter for the Sioux on D last year, she was also 7th overall in points on the team as the Caption last year. Lewis also was voted to the WCHA All Star Team last year, which I "believe" is voted on by all the other WCHA coaches.

Unfortunately undfan17 is spot on with how things went down. Obviously the Lam twins did not take it from Lewis on their own, the coach has the final say on that deal, supposedly.

Mostly because of being asked to no longer wear the C, but there were also other things involving the team as well.

It's pretty sad as a senior, that would have been wearing the C for at least the second year in a row this year, Lewis was "asked" to give up the C her final year. I am just as excited to see the women play this year as anyone else, but it's hard to stay excited when stuff like this happens.

I heard that there will be 3 options of jerseys. Practice at $69 or $79, Replica at $99, and Authentic at $250. The last I had heard is that none of the womens new jerseys will be for sale at this time. AGAIN, this is just what I have hear.

Also, 'NO BEER' in those sections either. Drink up between periods!! That is if you will be drinking at the game.

I have not heard anything. I was hoping that with the new Nike jerseys, maybe they would sell or auction of the old jerseys.

You can pick up your ticket packages at the "Fan Fest" at the Ralph tomorrow from 10-2, if you are unable to make it, they will mail them out Monday i believe.

Did anyone new happen to show up just for the golf today by chance? I know Hartnell was not at the autograph deal last year but did participate the next day.

I would have to say my top two SIOUX Football memories are: 2. Pre-gaming at BW's in Fargo and then watching Jimmy K. catching a 15 yard pass, and then out running all the bison D backs for a 60-70 yard TaDa! 1. Sitting in the front row near where the SIOUX come out onto and off the field in the new Al during the 2000-01 SIOUX-bison game. The SIOUX obviously won the game and the guys brought the Nickle over to the student section, and then to all the fans near the first row until they made it to the tunnel. I was able to touch the trouphy and have not seen the dang thing since!! Good times.

What's up with the Ultimate Fan Experience in Bismark having the Nickle Throphy available last week for the public to view? We had 3 former Sioux football players in town for the Spring game this year (Jimmy K, Chris Kuper and WD). UND held a gathering at the CanadInn for fans and alums along with the above three guys, and they had the McNaughton Cup there? Don't get me wrong, it was great to be able to see and have my photo taken with the cup. I guess I just think they would have had the Nickle Throphy there before the McNaughton cup. Just jealous of Bismark I guess.

I also know that Zach comes back every year and does an autograph session at Rydell's. I have gone the past two years and he is always happy to sign whatever you bring in. He usually has his own photo to sign as well if you have nothing of your own to bring, and they are free. As AZSIOUX said, the Oshie tourney is a great place to get autos. The guys usually go to Rydell's the night before they golf out at Kings Walk, and they are there for two hours. Last year I had some great luck at the Pro Camp that Brad Berry ran at the Ralph after all the youths camps were over. I got Greene, Hale, Chorney, Phil, Porter, Matt Jones, Karl, Colby Genoway just to name a few and there were several Manatoba Moose players there as well.
