Blue Key is allowed to present the trophy to the winner every year. Whne the UND blue key folded, this right(honor) was bestowed upon the UND student senate. The nickel trophy was the idea of UND alum Richard Kunkel. I know you(bisonfan 1234) are pretty dense, but this has got to make sense to you sooner or later?

The UND student senate also has ownership rights as they assumed them when the UND blue key organization was dissolved. Also, the Nickel was created by a UND Grad, so get overyourself. If it makes you feel better, maybe we can give you a replica so you won't feel like a total LOSER.

As far as the other programs at NDSU, Good Luck, I could actually see myself attending some of those events. Unfortunately I think it will be short lived for some of the lesser sports(especially men's)--seems to be a trend in 1AA programs that many varsity sports seem to disappear over time.

NO, If their were only 16 teams in D2 then NDSU would have made the playoffs last year.

Good Luck to Grant pOTULNY. He might not be pretty out there and I am not sure if he has NHL skills, but if hard work and determination still count for anything he will do fine. And oh yeah, he is a kid who usually ends up on the winning team. A lot of talent around him, sure. But We sioux fans have witnessed this year that talent alone does not always win National titles and Grant has 2. Bottom line, he is a winner and a leader and given the right opportunity he can produce in the nhl. One more thing, I know it was a couple years ago, but I seem to remember the puck shooting incident to have taken place in St. Cloud?? And not sure about Potulny, but Taffe, from all accounts was an a$$hole on and off the ice and the Gophers were not that sorry to see him leave.

I took these right off the ncaa college hockey futures that the guy behind the cage at the flamingo handed me when i asked him if he had any ncaa hockey odds aailable. so he either has a rather elaborate scam going or the flamingo does have a sportsbook. i actually went to the I. P. first and they sent me to the flamingo.

that's why you can get soe good odds o some teams right now, they won't rally get the odds straight until the field is set. i had to ave the guy dig in the back for the ncaa hockey futures and from what i ave heard, the flamingo is the only place taking any money on college hockey right now
