    Chris Porter has been seeing some ice tonight while the Blues are getting stomped by the Hawks. Toews has a goal so far with over 1 period left to play.

    It's nice to see Porter up, hopefully he can earn a spot while Osh is recovering.

    I'll be in Omaha staying at the Holiday Inn with two friends. We are looking for some hang outs for before and after the games, anyone have some suggestions? Where are all you traveling Sioux fans going to be?

    If you are not on the team you should not say we. I have always hated how people say we did this or we did that when they did nothing. This is not a shot at you just a comment in general.

    I get what you guys are saying, I really do. When you're at a hockey game you don't see yourself as part of the "7th man" or at a football game part of the "12th man?" That's where I'm coming from when I say "we." The team, the fans, the arena, all as one unified force. "We are North Dakota" (offically) but at everyone's heart "We are the Sioux"

    You play for the team?

    I am not on the team or affiliated with the team in any way other than being a fan. I said nothing that they don't already know and fully understand. Fans are just as much a part of the team as anyone else. It's a symbiotic relationship, no fans means no team, no team means no fans. If you're worried about hurting their feelings, I'm sure the scoff at this meaningless poll. This is purely "arm chair quarterback" conjecture. Our opinions mean nothing, it's up to Hak and company to make the decision. They're men, they've dealt with this on every level they've played at for the last 15 years (give or take a few). This is nothing new and if they plan to move on to the NHL it will only get 1000 times worse once they're getting PAID to produce and are not.

    What... are you on the team? I'm not thinking so...

    Are you sure about how they would feel? Have you talked to anyone on the list as I have today?

    Don't any of you think that this poll is a little harsh? Imagine if you were a player, or a parent of a player, how you would feel?

    This is patty cake peewees where everyone gets equal ice time to be fair and nice. If you aren't happy with your ice time... get better. Plain and simple. We play to win, and if you don't help us win, we don't want you playing. That may sound harsh, but that's the way it is.

    Well I think it's easier to say who is playing goal. We only have two choices.

    The Forward discussion is more interesting and dicey.

    I was making an attempt at a joke, obviously a poor one. I was going for Abbott and Costello's "Who's on first" ... swing and a miss ... :)

    I am having the dardest time pulling the trigger on a jersey that costs $250 per. I'll cave one of these days...

    I also figured out there are 7 jerseys I'm missing from the entire Sioux jersey era since 1950. The three current Reebok's, 2 from the 1970s (a home and away that are identical in striping, just different colors), the jersey they wore in the last game of the old Ralph (which is based off an old Sioux jersey, but not the same), and a green Nike with Sioux spelled diagonally (which is also based off an old Sioux jersey, but is also not the same).

    So, I have some work to do. One day, I'd like to get some of the really old Sioux jerseys made up with exact materials the teams used (like flannel wool jersey material and felt lettering/numbering that also are sized correctly based on that era of much less padding).

    I remember us talking about that project last winter. Maybe I'll have a better bankroll this time around. If you want next time I'm at the Ralph I can get a RBK for you with the discount. We'll talk next time I know I'm going up. I still need to get my green Reebok.

    I was bored so I decided to take a "family photo" of my current jersey collection.

    Two gamers in there, a few are customized with name/number as well. Only missing 5 different jerseys they've worn since around 1950...three of them being the current Reebok ones which will be ordered shortly (authentics only of course). I thought I had 33, but only seem to have 32, trying to see if I misplaced one somewhere. :)

    I like how you have them ordered chronologically for the picture :). When are you getting your Reeboks? I'm trying to decide if i should get my Black RBK done up as Fratts.
