Eddie was gone after one season. If #8 comes, what would Dell goals be for next season? Repeating at the same level, which would be awesome, may not be his goals.

If we win #8, I suspect Dell will be gone. Moving on to the next goals in his career. Eddie moved on to the next level after a season that accomplished all thier goals.

This thread really brought back the memories. My first legal drink in th Bridge bar across from Whitey's. Tea night at the Bridge, When the bridge went downhill (Bleacher seating WTF!!!) watching for the lines to get short at the Antique and Whitey's from the Bridge windows because it was too dam cold out to stand for 15 minutes. Getting my then high school girlfriend, now wife, into the back bar at Whiteys to shoot pool and eat peanuts. needless to say it became her favorite bar. The red head we called firebush in the pull tab box. I always liked the walleye in the restaurant, though I could only afford it on rare occasions. Murf trying to drink all the different beers.... some were god awful. The spud and buck pichters, such a blurry memory. Smashed playing that sink the sub game or whatever it was called. Great times, i think?? I went to Whiteys a few years ago and have to agree it was not the same but the memories were worth it... aw to be young again.

I have quietly wondered to myself that getting a bachelors degree in 3 years may have contributed to his lesser performance this year over last. Sort of a mental "burnout" (which is way to harsh, but I am not a wordsmith). When i read this "for selfish reasons as a Sioux hockey fan, I want BE to stay at UND" , I had the thought that selfishness wants him to move on with either hockey or his degree and bring in a rising, hungry star... be it Gothberg or someone else. Personally i think our goalies are hung out to dry too often, but i am a hockey fan and not a coach. Rick

I will be in Watertown, SD this weekend for a PeeWee hockey tournament. Does anyone know if FSSN is available in Watertown? Or am I going to be stuck with online games. thanks Rick

Watched the Fargo Force beat Sioux City Musketeers last night. Gothberg is goal for the force looked good. Schmaltz looked good, got a nice power play goal, the first thing I noticed was smallish legs, so he may need to put on some weight. Colton Sinclair and Chad Demers were both injury scratches. Pretty good game, Force opened it up in the second and Sioux City couldn't keep up. Smallish crowd, 2888. With a UND game going on and weather in the area not a bad showing. nice arena. Rick

Thanks, the kids get to meet the Force players after the game so they are pumped. Hoping to run up to GF on saturday and watch the Sioux!! We shall see.
