  1. I will be the first to admit it was a cheap play if anyone can show evidence it happened. Its just funny Trupp never publically said it in the media.

Did miss Lucia move on to the ECHL or AHL after his college career? If he did is there a video of his turtle moves and subsequent smack down? Rumor has it that he runs his own coffee kiosk in the cities.

Whatever happened to Cpiss? Surely someone gave him a beating, or did he go straight to work at Target?

  2. Is anyone trying to listen on FightingSioux.com. there are people talking, like an interview being broadcast at the same time. Trying to follow Sioux hockey on the internet blows, AA has a been a better experience.

  3. I highly doubt that. I don't want to play the IF game, but he'll be here until at least junior year. Rarely can goalies make the jump straight to the NHL or even AHL.

Eddie was gone after one season. If #8 comes, what would Dell goals be for next season? Repeating at the same level, which would be awesome, may not be his goals.

  4. If we win #8, I suspect Dell will be gone. Moving on to the next goals in his career. Eddie moved on to the next level after a season that accomplished all thier goals.

  5. Lasers embedded in the ice, Yeeeeaah. I dont see any issues there.

Then of course you'd have the $678,000 ruggedized sensor embedded pucks.

Outta be fun watching school officials wrestle them outta the hands of little Johnny when it gets launched outta play and into the crowd.

Upon furher review I also have to admit that the right call was made, in fact I'm ready to make the most Telling gesture of my belief by accepting it and moving on.

Tough way to lose a game for a goalie easy to let that one gnaw at a guys gut for the next sixty years.

One of the greatest things about sports, any sports is the human factor and the possibility of error, judgement and misinterpretation.

Teaching kids and as much as possible adults how to deal with situations such as these is one of the greatest benefits to developing a strong character.

If every aspect of life had black and white definitive laser detected goal/no goal qualities, I don't think that would be a very interesting existence, tough to deal with yes but how it is handled can build much more into a man.

I haven't heard what dean had to say about it today or after seeing a replay but MANY PEOPLE CAN LEARN BY HIS ACTION and about how to handle oneself. Composure shows much more credential than bouncing around off the glass like a classless dasher monkey. Which by the way is looked at equally as ridiculous in the business world......where the vast majority of all these kids will end up.

Very good points... Has Dean Blais commented yet.

  6. Or sharks with lasers!!

I think lazers are an excellent direction to go to. Maybe an in ice solution for instances where the goal is knocked off its moorings... Just some random ideas..

  7. C Piss signed with the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL. I did not find any Sioux players going against nim in the next five games, but surely someone will beat the snot out of him. Just something to look for and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!! :whistling::devil::lol:

  8. Ohh yeah, thats right....the Beavers wear green too.....I mean, nice win for the team with the hostile and abusive mascot.....wait....thats both of them....

    Nice job Sioux!

In my younger days I had some hostile & abusive beavers that made life difficult. if you pet them just right they get friendly...

  9. This thread really brought back the memories. My first legal drink in th Bridge bar across from Whitey's. Tea night at the Bridge, When the bridge went downhill (Bleacher seating WTF!!!) watching for the lines to get short at the Antique and Whitey's from the Bridge windows because it was too dam cold out to stand for 15 minutes. Getting my then high school girlfriend, now wife, into the back bar at Whiteys to shoot pool and eat peanuts. needless to say it became her favorite bar. The red head we called firebush in the pull tab box. I always liked the walleye in the restaurant, though I could only afford it on rare occasions. Murf trying to drink all the different beers.... some were god awful. The spud and buck pichters, such a blurry memory. Smashed playing that sink the sub game or whatever it was called. Great times, i think?? I went to Whiteys a few years ago and have to agree it was not the same but the memories were worth it... aw to be young again.
