Damned. Wish I was in the arena. Hennessy just suggested a fix. A league conspiracy? Worst defensive team in the league. "Don, let 'em play 5X4 as much as you can. That'll keep it close."
-
Before this night is over, the Sioux are going to kill the Indians. Er, I mean the Mavs. For you youngsters, the Mavs used to be called the Indians.
-
Hey PCM . . . . Where you? You posted Prpich's penalty a full 30-45 seconds before TH saw it on the ice?? Or were you just predicting?
-
MNS . . . . The chant would be "GREAT SAVE JAKE" after he makes one. That would pump his blood, no?
-
There's the crowd. Now they score.
-
Geez. In the crease?
-
Both teams are flying. Friday night in the WCHA. What, pray tell, could be better?
-
Great save Jake. Hey, there's a good home ice chant.
-
Did I hear that the Sioux had a big advantage going the other way right before the return rush?
-
I think DamStrait is an international playboy . . . . Three plus minutes in. No score. Hennessy sounds excited so the Sioux must be taking it to the Mavs. Remember, this weekend is the Mavs Super Bowl . . . . 2 shots Mavs. 1 shot Sioux.

The venerable Jim Dahl is the Gophers' first intermission guest?!?
-
Ain't technology great. I'm thinking about ordering up a hologram for myself later. Back and forth. Good action. 90 seconds in.
-
The venerable Don Adam is the ref. These are TH's words. Is he the best hockey announcer around a wide swath of land or what? Geez. I can see the plays developing. The teams are up and down the ice. No whistles.
-
Dam. You on the road? Where?
-
Hey Dam. Is ya going to Dulute?
-
Going to the game tomorrow. You shoulda seen the women on me. Maybe I should start a separate thread??

I think the keys to the game for Mankato are first, they must feed on the emotion of their final home games of the season. I think they have to stay out of the penalty box too. The Mavs also need to get physical. The Sioux? I think that they all need to RELAX a bit. Have fun. They are a good team. Capable of being the best. They also need to get big No. 7 going as well. These are the things that I think.

Hi guys!! And gals. Just got in from a hot date with some slack-t*tt^%d hag. Called it an early night so I could spend time with TH, and all of you. What's the score? Dey drop da puck yet?
-
I think that Colorado College is ultimately a better team than Duluth. Once the emotion wears off the Dogs, they will be in trouble. With everything that CC has on the line from here on it, I am going on record as calling for the Saturday night Stick Salute by the Tigers to their faithful. Of course, I would prefer Duluth to win, as it will set up a great showdown next week, and keeping CC out of the round of sixteen will enhance the Sioux's trip to the World, instead of to Van Andel.

For those of you who do not want to link to USCHO, here is their February 18 speculation . . . . . West Regional: 16 Bemidji State vs. 1 North Dakota 12 Denver vs. 7 Minnesota Midwest Regional: 14 Brown vs. 4 Michigan 11 Ohio State vs. 5 Minnesota-Duluth East Regional: 13 Michigan State vs. 3 Maine 10 Wisconsin vs. 6 St. Cloud State Northeast Regional: 15 Holy Cross vs. 2 Boston College 9 Miami vs. 8 New Hampshire

Wow. Look out West. Buy your tickets now. The World still has some good seats, and reasonable plane fare can still be had. But not for long . . . .
-
Here we go . . . If I know how . . . . Tournament Bracketology

I cast my vote for Fabian. Couldn't stand to see him posted there without a vote, especially seeing how he garnered a 4.0 recently. Not a small achievement at Kupcella U. Now, someone needs to vote for Ziggy. Of all the players, except perhaps for Foyt, he is the only one who has not made a bonehead move on the ice at least once or twice. Sadly, only because he has not been between the pipes. Much anyway. Seriously, this is an awesome group of guys. Let's hope that they, and their teammates, are focused and mature enough to turn a fine season into a memorable season.

Duluth is a darned good club. Every good club has their periods of stumbling a shade. See last eight Sioux games. This said, here is saying that the Dogs stumble into St. Paul reeling from a 1-5 closing conference run. This will make them particularly snarly in St. Paul, assuming, of course, that they get there. Thanks from me too PCM. No doubt that you make all JackRabbits proud.

WPoS . . . Gonna go to Mankato on Saturday with the chillen. You gonna be cooking the swill on Friday before the puck drops? If not, I've got the 6th of March circled on my calendar to join you POI boys down by the railroad tracks before the Huskie game. Will the still be cooking then? You want me to bus in some hookers for you and the boys? You guys ain't laying in the weeds to beat me up, is ya? Come to think of it, I could probably use a good beating. See you soon. Have fun with Alaska. They are a sneaky bunch, and have some good players. One an old Sioux boy. I would bet my life on a Gophers sweep this weekend, but then again, I lost my soul to the dark side years ago. Sioux need four in 'Kato. At the rate that we are putting the biscuit in the basket, that might be tough, but for the fact that 'Kato seems to want to give them away in droves. Friday? Or the 5th-6th? Can I wear my Sioux gear?
