My wife and I are staying in oakdale(just north if Woodbury) at the best western. It is a nice hotel, very clean and I think a reasonable price. You will pay about 200 total for the 3 nights. We have a suite with a fridge and microwave which makes it nice for extended stays. I would have to say that the breakfast is below my expectations, but they do have a continental breakfast.

Friday is opening day for the Minnesota twins, our major league baseball team. In downtown St Paul is the Science museum which is always a fun place. Last time I was there, King Tuts tour was there with a bunch of artifacts. If you are going to the game, one place that is a must eat experience is Mickeys Diner which is just north of the xcel arena. It is a greasy spoon, good burgers and other kinds of americana food.

How sweet it will be to hear the Sioux Yeah Yeah's and Hopefully the band is in full force. Can it be the 7th already?

I would love to see there be about as many as the final five but I don't know if there are that many available to the sioux fans. My wife and I got tickets 3 weeks ago and I think she is already packed and waiting in the ol Explorer already.

How many Sioux fans can we realistically expect? I would say about 3 thousand.

In all seriousness, I think that this is THE game that will define our season. I think that the team will come out and show that last weekend was just one card in the hand. Why show the hand you hold when you have to play just one card. This is gonna be intersting. Do we have a royal flush or is this the ultimate game of bluff em, SIOUX YEAH YEAH!!!

I have seen them and got them at face value strait from the NCAA. There were still tickets available from Xcel as of this last week at face yet. From one Sioux fan to many others don't pay much more than the $198 face value.

We saw what this kind of tactic did to the goofs against Tech a few weeks back. They got a fighting major and a bunch of penalty minutes. I totally agree, give the diver a reason to dive. Let Patterson know that you are into the game and intend on being at the xcel next weekend. I have a feeling the goofs are ripe for a letdown.

I do agree with the bracket integrity side to the argument, BUT I don't know if bracket integrity is what this move is about. I do see UNO in St. Louis for pure attendance purposes. GF to GB 600 miles GF to ST. Louis 875 Omaha to GB 570 Omaha to St Louis 440 This equals more fans in each regional. We all know the NC$$ is all about the students.

I see that Moy may have seen the light about UNO traveling well in short distances. I like them in St. Louis, BUT I could see them coming out of that bracket. The Sioux could very well play UNO 2 more times this year. Am I correct in this way of thinking?

I really have a feeling that they will be trying to send UNO to St Louis. That is a fanbase that follows the team to an extent. But by doing this, I think they get places in the Michigan bracket along with Notre Dame.

I can't believe that some fans are thinking that we should take a page out of the Ron Gardenhire book of playoff prep. There is no way that we should rest anyone. I totally agree with Yzerman that the team needs to play the lines and go for the wins. They need to lock up the #1 overall seed. There is plenty of time to rest this summer.
