Oh wait, I guess you can't swear at the games anymore. Or just make these signs you are talking about and put them on the glass behind the penalty box so we can see them down here on tv.

What ever happened to just simply throwing a gopher on the ice? I threw one out there in 1998. Remember the live gopher that somebody snuck through the back smoking doors in a cage and threw on the ice that ran around for awhile? Maybe security is too tough in the new arena, I don't know.

I would think they would have the sound on throughout the bar for the games Friday and Saturday. I guess I probably should drink a little less than I do. But it's tough when you are sitting there for so long, you need something to do.

I went to Sensers on Saturday to watch the Sioux pummel Yale. It was great fun! Bochenski's Mom was there, as well as a big crowd from Faribault. It gets very expensive in a hurry though and I will probably just go there for one of the nights and a college buddies the other. I just wanted to see if others were still going to Sensers or if somebody knew of a cheaper place to hang out. It would be great if somebody had a place to have a big gathering so we could bring our own goods to save money. I am sure it will be a Sioux majority crowd at Sensers and hopefully many friends I haven't seen for awhile. Until then, GO SIOUX!!!

Yep, it's true. I just heard it on WCCO radio. He is already gone. I guess he thought he should have been paid more since they made the playoffs last year and it was because of him. It's a good thing that college players aren't paid or else the world would be an even bigger greedy mess. I guess that's just the beauty of college hockey. I was just watching channel 5 news here in the T.C. and they said that talks today with Gaborik didn't work out and he will be going back to Slovakia. They said he will be leaving Minnesota and doesn't want to stay in this situation. This is the first I have heard and am waiting for the 6:00 news to hear more about it. Anybody else hear anything? This is big news and I am a little skeptic that only one news channel mentioned something about it, but they did. I wonder what this will do to the rest of the teams morale? Sure they will shrug it off and say it doesn't matter, but it will. They probably thought he would eventually sign like the rest of us. This is a big mistake for the franchise.

Yeah Ghosty, I'm still here. I can't wait to get back up to Senser's to watch those Sioux home games. I never realized that the alumni party for the Gopher game last year would develop into an every weekend Sioux party. That's great to hear they will have those games on. I think we are planning on going there for at least one of the Gopher-Sioux games again. That was fun! We'll probably see you there!

I think both games will be very exciting and close. I could have had the choice of 2 ties, but that would probably be taking it a little too far, unless you are Cleo and already know the future. I wonder if a split would benefit the Sioux the most or the Gophers losing both? It may be too early to determine this, though I would like to see the Bulldogs do better than the Gophers in the longrun. The Gophers have a lot of events planned such as the Herb Brooks ceremony and raising of the banner, but I don't think these things would give either team an advantage emotionally to win. The game is still played the same way in my opinion. The Bulldogs will be more pumped to kick some Gopher butt and the Gophers will be out to defend their dignity from the previous poor play and their banner. This should create for an intense game. Friday will be a tie and the Bulldogs will win Saturday.

I remember that Ghosty. I didn't really care for siouxrock either, but was just curious as to his whereabouts.

Does anybody know? This season just doesn't seem the same without the rockster posting these days. Did anybody ever figure out what was wrong with him? Perhaps he finally learned how to type and changed his name.

I wonder what the polls will look like after they take last place in their tourney? Do they take that into consideration if a bunch of their better players aren't in action?

Oh, I misread the article. I thought they were impyling that the entire team wouldn't be traveling to the tournement. Thanks for correcting me, I think I'm still drunk from last night, can't read or think.

I was looking at WCHA online and saw the picture of Karl. Did he play this last weekend? WCHA has the most updated site for college hockey, I love it. I went to the Wild game last night vs. Calgary and neither Roche or Commodore played, but Leopold did and he looked good. It is great to see so many NHL teams picking up college players rather than finding them in other countries. I don't see how New Hampshire can back out of a tournement just because some players are suspended. They are probably just afraid of being defeated and want to retain that #1 ranking.

Now that they all have had a chance to play, who appears to be the strongest? It is hard to determine still, but I am curious to read what everybody else thinks. Who will be playing tonight against B.C.? I think it will be Brandt, anybody know? I think Blais will probably keep alternating them until somebody impresses him and then maybe will stick with one as he used to. I haven't heard too many comments about who Blais has the most confidence in, but since Parise started this big series he may be more composed, relaxed and impressing in practice thus far. He did have good positioning against B.C., but the penalties killed us. Nice picture on USCHO PCM!!!

4-2 after 2. Good thing college hockey doesn't use replay to review yet or Bochenski and the Sioux would be really hurting.

3-1. Fylling good shot. There's the crowd.

According to Mike Eruzione, Grand Forks doesn't even make his list of top five toughest crowds. Cornell #1, followed by Michigan State, Michigan, St. Cloud and New Hampshire. He must figure we lost this with the new arena or he is just like everybody else not giving the WCHA or the Sioux their deserved recognition. I have been hearing the crowd doing their bullsh@& cheer, but they do need to get into it a little more like we used to up there. Burning couches while waiting in line and smoking out the gophers in their locker room, heckling players over the glass and having them shoot pucks at us and requiring one person to recieve 20 stiches, ahh the good old days at the old Ralph. Well I am done talking to myself. If anyone else has been checking this for updates, let me know and I'll keep them coming. I am sure that everybody has found a place to enjoy the game. Shoot, another goal. 3-0, way too quick.

Fylling just missed. We are outplaying them when at full strength.

The one bright spot so far is that when we weren't killing off a penalty, we had a few chances. 2-0 B.C. We need to start playing smart.

We are taking too many stupid penalties.

Our defense looks solid. Jordan had a good look at the shot he let in. Hopefully he can pull it together.

Very good camera work. Just like watching a frozen four game on ESPN. The only difference is that the announcers don't sound too partial just yet. It does seem like they use the B.C. players names more.

Is Z. Parise playing tonight? Perhaps they've said on the radio or Internet feed.

The game hasn't started yet, but I really like their coverage so far. I don't have DirectTV, but am at a friends house who does. Anybody else watching on CSTV? It's too bad they don't have another game featuring the Sioux this year. The only reason our game probably is on this channel is because we are playing a team from the East. I wish there was a way to pick up the feed from G.F. on TV down here in the Twin Cities. Does anybody know when Victory sports starts and if it will be available on standard cable? They were supposed to have a bunch of WCHA games, but I haven't seen or heard of a channel lineup yet. LET'S GO SIOUX!!!
