RR and gfc dont have school populations of 1500 students i would guarentee you that. But id be willing to bet that they would jsut play up though for better competition. Some A schools play them tough though. Warroad whipped GFC but RR whipped Warroad.

GFRR and GFC have played up to 5 times in many seasons. 2 regular season, a regular season x-mas tournament they usually are both in, edc, then state.

Let me ask you grafton people this would you be mad if RR had no penaltys in all 6 periods? Would you be mad if RR won in overtime with 6 players on the ice for 10 seconds when the goal scored? Would you be mad if a RR player cheap shoted demers?

ur right... they tied it to go in to over time.... think of what would have happen if the refs werent so blind. gpr gets ther first penalty of the nite. its still 2-1 and RR is on the power play.

I got the telecast on dvr and u can see the 6th man prior to the goal for 10 seconds. no lie either. tough break i guess.

Im not trying to make excuses but how does a team not get a penalty in 6 periods of hockey. thats almsot unheard of.

i dont think ive ever seen a more horribly reffed game then last nite. 6 guys on the ice for 10 seconds when gpr scored there 2nd goal...numerous missed calls on bth sides

In speaking with WCHA commissioner Bruce McLeod yesterday, he said he spoke to NoDak coach Dave Hakstol this week and the coach gave assurances that he'd be speaking to the players about their style of play. McLeod said his bigger concern is a general atmosphere of coaches, players and fans rhetoric toward the officials heating up, an increase in fighting, and a general increase in on-ice thuggery. He vowed that's going to change, not just for one team but for all 10.
