I have a feeling there's not gonna be many of us on the thread tonight... Lots of people are at the game, and others are out at bars and restaurants watching. That's just what I assume anyways.

I think some of us are going to try and buy some tickets from scalpers tonight. Hopefully they're decent seats and not too expensive!

I'm going to let everyone on SS decide for me if I should go to the game tonight. Here's my situation: I am in the Cities right now after just getting back from vacation. I have a final to take tomorrow morning so I'm thinking I should go home and study for that. However, I would LOVE to go to the Sioux game tonight. So what should I do?! (I feel like I know the answer already lol)

Classes after 3:30 have been cancelled.

So what is everyone doing on this lovely day of another blizzard? I haven't quite decided yet, might do some homework. I did hear, though, that UND didn't cancel classes like everywhere else in the region did...

Yes you did misread my post. I said he didn't play much UNTIL the 3rd period, so yeah he obviously PLAYED IN the 3rd period, I don't know how you misread that. Yes, I am fairly certain that White was playing. Anyone who was at the game could tell you that. I'm not stupid. He was wearing jersey #23 with his name on it (WHITE). There was also another #23 so I was confused why there were 2 of the same number. As for Bruneteau having a bad +/-, everyone on the Des Moines team had a bad +/- because they lost 8-0..... I said they were out on the ice together, I didn't say they were both playing the same position. Any other questions or comments? Man, tough crowd...

Well... The Force dominated Des Moines by winning 8-0. But I do have some comments about the Sioux recruits (Bruneteau, Fink, Gleason, and White). Bruneteau didn't play a whole lot until the 3rd period, that's when I started noticing him. However, he did get a penalty in the 3rd period although I didn't see him do anything so I was quite confused by that. Other than that, he seemed to play well, nothing outstanding though. Fink was out there a lot with Gleason, they seem to play pretty good together. I thought Gleason looked like he had a lot of speed to his skating and got a lot of play time it seemed like. I like them together. White played a bunch in the 1st period, but I didn't see much of him after that. He didn't do anything that stood out really, so I don't have much to say about him. At the same time, he didn't do anything not good either, so he seems like a good recruit. And that's all, sorry I didn't have any more to say on any of them.

I'm going to the Fargo Force game today against Des Moines, who I think has some Sioux recruits... Maybe I'll let ya know how they do...

Well I am off to work, and then heading to BWW in South Fargo to watch the game. LET'S GO SIOUX!!!! Clinch the WCHA title!!!

I'm pretty sure Buffalo Wild Wings will have it on (both locations). Labby's is pretty good at putting Sioux hockey games on also, that's up north by NDSU. Applebee's locations will probably have it on too. I was thinking of going to the southside BWW after work. If any SSers wanna join, let me know!

I noticed during the game that there wasn't the usual "Hit of the Game" or "Play of the Game" shown on the jumbotron. Anyone know why? There were some pretty good hits and plays by our team last night, it would've been neat to see which ones they picked. Hopefully it'll be back tonight?

ok just saw it... I'm definitely the only girl in all the pictures shown, and probably the only non-hockey player also... Awkward lol
