Not saying or knowing this is a reason but I believe a number of years back one of the towns didn't want to co-op anymore so they split but are now back together.

I really think that is a possibility starting this next season. With what they lose and the Jackrabbits the door is open next year. I also believe NDSU is up here the next two seasons.

Wishful thinking on my part but their D was getting lit up by some pretty bad teams at the time. I also expected a better performance by UND, SDSU under performed and the bottom half of the Valley ended up really sucking.

Nope it has been off the charts. I look at the goalie position at UND that has been relegated to a portal goalie every year and has turned into a dumpster fire. I don't like filling the most important position with a transfer. This program is in a rebuild mold get a young QB and groom them. I hate to say it but look at the successful QBs at NDSU they come from recruiting not the portal.

I am sure Quincy is a great kid. How many W's did he bring to the football program, not very many and his stat line is non existent. My point was I hope this new QB brings more than being a nice guy. Nice guys finish last just ask Bubba.

Questions I have with this new QB is if he was recruited by these top FBS schools why pick San Diego State and then if the QB1 position is yours for the taking why transfer down to an average FCS program? These types of transfers don't always pan out. I remember NDSU a few years back got a kid from VA Tech that was a dumpster fire. Hoping he isn't Quincy Vaughn 2.0.

Yep. NDSU blew their wad in October and no way they repeat it. Defense has become suspect again and struggling running the ball.
