the last three years we've hit rock bottom in december right before x-mas. maybe this year we hit it this weekend at the end of december. bottom line is we need to start winning games. only way we make the tourney is to go on some lengthy unbeaten streak like 10 or 12 games. I'm not sure this squad has it in them to do that especially with our schedule.

where was our beloved captain this weekend? where was the leadership? this is where this team is lacking, nobody to step up and say follow me.

good thing we didn't play michigan today they would have beat us 6-0.

yep, maybe he should have kept the guys here over x-mas for practice because they have lost whatever good was achieved the previous 4 weekends. o ne practive on x-mas then board a flight the day after come on.

recruits and talent aren't the problems with this team

cornell was leading scsu 3-2 in the 3rd.

I think the strategy of playing in the icebreaker and gli to help us in the end has backfired bigtime. going 0-3 against the other 2 "big" conference foes will kill us in the end and we have no one to blame but ourselves and going 2-0? against the cha will not help us make the ncaa tourney.

my point was that those wins will not help us at all in the pairwise and should we lose they will kill our rpi.

well they are so used to losing the first game of a tourney(frozen four) they figure that is what you are supposed to do all the time.

what the hell good are nc wins against mtech ans bsu going to do for us besides killing our rpi if we lose.

when the sioux are sitting at home after the ff they will have no one to blame but themselves. pathetic.

actually we don't score and they get 1 plus an eng 4-0 msu.

as there have been conflicting reports, is this game on fsn-detroit plus on directv or the dish?

the one thing that scares me about this game is Jeff Lerg. this spartan squad is a wounded animal and we better come out ready to play or we'll be playing the early game tomorrow. that being said Sioux win 4-2.

so there is absolutely no tv on sat? I thgought that it was to be on an fsn alternate channel if you have the dish?

I thought we were the late game as well.

game didn't matter, glad we won and we actually looked pretty decent for probably not having that much of an inntensity level. it looked very business like and most importantly I think we came out of it injury free.
