  1. At BWW in a sea of red...yeah that's gonna work....
  2. The WDAY (th) feed on my tune-in app is pretty close to the video feed, about 1/2 sec behind. Haven't tried the website directly...may work to mute nchc and run WDAY in the background.
  3. Sadly, I think with the loss of the Sioux logo, along with the attractiveness of the Big 10 league, recruiting will not be what it once was. The team may need to reinvent itself.
  4. Won't be long until this site is overloaded with posters, slowing it way down.
  5. Looking for 4 tickets this Fri @ Duluth. Thanks for looking.
  6. This is great news Jayson, thanks! Also, if you or anyone else knows, when it come to streaming data over a cellular network, which do you think will use more, my laptop running chrome tethered to my phone, or just watching through the phone via the app? Thanks!
  7. I watched my first Gamblers game the other night, and sat right behind their bench (Schmaltz gave a curious look and nod upon seeing the Sioux jersey). No goals for Nick that night, but I noticed a few bursts of speed from him, and a couple dangles. I'll admit that I have very much the untrained eye, but his passes seemed to be the most accurate on the team, and he appeared to be an unselfish player. He took a few hard hits into the boards, and got up quickly; seemed tough for his size. When his coaches spoke on the bench, he listened intently, seemed very focused. All in all, it was a good game. There was even a fight which the refs let go, which was one of the high points of the night judging from the crowd reaction. Speed and skill wise, it seemed somewhere between high school and DIII hockey...am I right on this? I think the players are smaller in DIII, but faster and more skilled.
  8. I had the same issues others reported with regards to the "skippyness" and buffering. I was using a 6 year old HP Pavilion laptop connected to a DVD recorder via s-video, which in turn was connected to the LED TV via HDMI, so I also attribute my issues to this. I read on another thread that someone used an item called "Chromecast", so I ordered it. I have a newer desktop computer, so perhaps streaming to the Chromecast will resolve some of my issues.
  9. Here's Tate's moment of glory, as well as O'donnell's goal. Kind of a bummer that both the TV and TH cutaway for commercial, which accounts for the sketchy editing job, but it is what it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ervN1eqiPw

  11. Ya noticed that....miss those American Tire commercials!
  12. Hi, First time watching a game this year on UND Insider...has it always been this choppy? Seems sharp, but a little choppy. Thanks!
  13. As usual I have been in a Sioux blackout all off-season. Watched "Through These Doors" last night and kept saying to myself "who is this guy, who is that guy?". Ah yes, there will be the usual learning curve...
